Event Description

MEPEACE is starting a language learning exchange - see: http://mepeace.org/events/arabic-hebrew-exchange-february-3

We will open our Chat Room on mepeace.org to an Arabic and Hebrew language-exchange. Language is a powerful medium to dialogue, and communicating in the other's language is a powerful way to connect with the other.

MEPEACE's Chat Room offers us a safe space to meet and to learn from one another. Language-learning chat sessions will be informal and conversational. We will encourage participants to ask questions and request to learn new phrases in Hebrew and Arabic.

The chat will be conducted in English - and the session will allow Waleed and Eyal to type their answers in Arabic and Hebrew in addition to English. We will aim to teach both languages evenly.

Waleed Hammad will be our Arabic teacher. Eyal Raviv will teach Hebrew. Oliver Haack will be the Moderator leading the exchange.

We are also open to more language tutors. If you have an interest in helping others learn Arabic or Hebrew, please email us at team@mepeace.org.
