Dia Internacional de Solidariedade Ao Povo Palestino. Poucos sabem, mas essa é a data em que a ONU, em 1947, votou a partilha da Palestina em dois estados: um judeu - Israel - e um árabe. Todos os países árabes rejeitaram a partilha. Anos depois foi designado pela ONU para marcar a solidariedade ao povo palestino, no reconhecimento de que o seu estado também precisa ser criado, completando o ciclo iniciado em 1947. Sou sionista, pró-Israel, e também pró-palestino, embora muitos não entendam ser isso possível. O futuro de um será ao lado do outro. E esse dia tem para mim profundo significado. Irei à mesa de reflexão promovido pelo Instituto de Cultura Árabe hoje conhecer o pensamento dos 3 líderes palestinos que lá estarão. Pela paz, pela coexistência, pelos direitos humanos. Por uma anistia aos presos políticos.

How long the USAs conscience remain asleep, double standards rule the policies of its rulers and American people accept the injustice barbarism perpetrated on Palestinians. A country which gives lectures to other countries on human rights, freedom and democracy cares the least when it comes to these unfortunate people. We need a World Spring to get rid of this ruling clique of the countries that are supposed to be following “The rule of the people, for the people and by the people” and infect murdering people in the name of people and through the people.
