We invite you to the third and last event of our current Chat Workshop series about 'Civil Society and its Impacts on Peacebuilding'.
Our focus this time will be a more specific evaluation of Civil Society in the Middle East. What has been achieved? What are the major challenges civil society agents have to cope in the region?
The leading questions are:
What can we do to ensure the free flow of information? To what extent is censorship challenging civil society in the Middle East?
What can women contribute to civil society in the Middle East?
How much can we expect from volunteer labour?
How can civil society stop the self-destructiveness ultimately entailed in seeing violence as a solution to every problem?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please note that the event will start on Sunday, 30 May at 20.00 Jerusalem time.
If you have any questions regarding the event, please don't hesitate us to contact us at mepeace.dialogue@gmail.com.
We look forward to your participation!
