Paul, I think this post is not useful at all. my impression it brings bad feeling.

Noa, should I close the discussion and open it, if any one has an update to Jaber case?
For any action we need to be planed, we do this in the plan-group.

Jafra, to be honest, I am feeling a bit frustrated. I sent email, I made phonecalls, I spoke with the man (Ezra) that took Jaber a few times to the hospital, I updated here in detail that he is fine. I wrote about the further legal issues that I think need to be dealt with. Also Max repeated this update along the same lines, explaining that the issue is now a broader one and we have to have more information to decide how to proceed.
so yes, I think that this specific story is solved, and now if you want to deal with the larger issues of chemical waste dumping and shell-collecting, there is need for a new discussion. People are logging on to this discussion and think that we still have to find out how Jaber is.

I will make it short:

There is general systematic failure we have to fix.
We have to chat to tune, agree on action items, share efforts .. on regular basis for any common purpose we follow.

this way we avoid frustration, and use our energy more productive end efficient. We learn to cooperate and build a team.

Yes Jafra and Noa,.

I also feel very bad about all of this story too. Very bad indeed, from several points of view. This seems to have been a wild goose-chase. I did not iniate it. We all, I trust, also accepted the initial urgent report on face value.

Jafra also introduced and wanted to discuss the general case. We can do that, if you and others want that, in the discussion "Dr. Mahmoud Sa'ada says "IDF poisons South Hebron"" which is at http://www.mepeace.org/forum/topic/show?id=661876%3ATopic%3A69983....

I do not see this as a planning issue as it seems me to have been a valid discussion of a valid topic. There should be no need to add to this topic unless there are real developments. I certainly will stay away from it unless my assessment changes.

Paul, please see my response to Jafra below. Ezra isn't "mysterious", Ezra is a peace activist in Ta'ayush and does alot of work in south Hebron as I wrote in my update. The connection between Ezra and the photographer is a professional one- these are activists that update each other and get information from each other. The story posted here about Keren Manor being injured by a rubber bullet has nothing to do with Jaber's story. It was posted to put things in context, to give people a better idea of who the people visiting Jaber are. That's all.
I wrote on my message who visited him and his family. There are many peace activists doing things like this on their own initiative. This is a positive thing but also problematic because if the Israeli peace camp (legal, activist, etc) would be more united and share information better, I think more could be done. The fact that it took me almost 3 weeks to get a simple answer on how the boy is doing illustrates this well.

This is awful and it is good that you have posted this on here. Keep us informed if you can. Stories like this shouldn't be a platform for making grand statements about who ever but for doing something constructive. How can we find out more? Cannot a compliant be registered with the IDF?

I suggest that the NGO's give us an email address or two of military personnel or health personnel who are directly responsible for the effects of the military on the local populations. in addition, the email of the ministry involved. then we all send respectful and persistent emails to pay attention to this matter, to take care of the family, and to clean up the site immediately, and post warnings everywhere they have made a dangerous mess. then we also start with opeds. it might be a good test of mepeace people power. I will participate if it is a respectful campaign, which is the only kind that ever succeeds, in my opinion.
