Positioning for the Conference on "Brazil as a Global Player" starting Saturday

I will pose a challenge for MEPEACE this week. Starting this Saturday, there will be a conference in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem about "Brazil as a Global Player". The program is attached.

The challenge is: mobilize key peacebuilders to go there and meet some of the Brazilian leaders who will be there. I can pinpoint to you who are the most important.

I think MEPEACE can have a turnaround in its effectiveness if we do a good job on this, and I dare to say that the protagonism of Uri Savir is imperative there. 

So, my suggestion is, Waleed, Oliver and Avi, read the program, and bring to this discussion topic the key people in MEPEACE until tomorrow, including Gershon Baskin, so that we can pull in the same direction in the following days.

I suggest we try to focus on Human Rights and Water, so that we can organize for the World Social Forum with those leaders.

For each Israeli who comes, I will bring an additional Brazilian from my network.
