I presume you are going to tell us that you have secret communiques from Hamas and Hizbulla  and Fatah that they changed their charters and became peace groups and their intent to destroy Israel is no longer valid.

Jeff. Neither Tim or Sussan can grasp the concept or gist of your posts. Sadly this is the position of Arabs and their supporters and all the while professing to either be Jewish or somehow having Israel's best interest at heart. Peace must come from within and the Arabs have been murdering Jews for so long (way before Israel) that they cannot reconcile the fact that this will no longer be tolerated and that Jews have an IDF/IAF that is quite capable of defending Israel.

Israel is here to stay no matter what people on this site think and the longer the dispute over this tiny piece of land lasts the less of this land will be left to the Arabs.

Let us just take sides, and make one side completely evil.  I know every morning I kiss the picture of Hitler. I have no desire to try to coozy up with fascist Italy.  Of course fascist Italy does not exist anymore.

Tim:

You said it and not me , but I do tend to believe you on this one. There is some truth to each outburst.

That is the endless accusations I get all the time.  That I am an Anti-Semitic Nazi and every morning I kiss the picture of Hitler.  We have a lot of different groups of people living on this planet.  So do they not have the right to live on this planet?  That is what this website is all about, how to get Israelis and Palestinians to live together.  Nazism was not based on different groups of people living together.  It was based on annihilation and dehumanize certain groups of people.  If I talk about the Palestinians as being human, and that makes me a Nazi, than that is the extremists burden, not mine.  So it is up to you, if you want to be "take sides, and make one side completely evil."

Samir, I thought you said you left. It's the second time you claimed you were leaving, and you also claimed many times you're leaving.

Jeff, the peace treaty was between the leaders of Egypt and Israel. It wasn't between the cultures of Egypt and Israel. What exactly is so healthy about the attitudes of say Israelis towards Arabs? Look at how Israel's authorities treat the Arabs under their control and how Israel refers to them. Israel has thousands of Arabs in jail. At least, 40% of Israelis, if not more, want the Arabs of Israel to leave. Are you sure that the anti-Semitic attitudes against Arabs is necessarily worse than the anti-Semitic attitudes towards Jews in Egypt? You have no way of measuring which one is worse. Sadat did ask about the Palestinians when he signed Camp David. That means to the Arabs what happens and happened to the Palestinians affects them. Were not Jews affected in America affected by what Germany did to Jews during WWII? It's as if you're expecting the Arabs to be humanly different than the Jews and to be held to some higher standard. What has Israel done to promote better understanding between it and the Arabs? I mean because you're talking about the cultural attitudes of the Egyptians. What has Israel done to make those Arab Egyptians feel good about Israel? Signing a peace treaty doesn't by itself make Jews and Arabs have lovely feelings for each other. Whoever said that?
While I don't agree with much what was said by those people on air, do you really think so many Jews in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) don't say similar things or worse? I have seen just as bad statements from Jews, and you know full-well that goes on.

Basil/ If you do the crime ,you must do the time. You got control of Gaza, and the 8 major cities and what did Israel get for that-more terror. Thank you for at least acknowledging Judea and Samaria and indirectly that Jews are of that area. Much more that other Palestinians are prepared to do.

Egypt got the Sinai back after a war of annihilation that they tried to initiate by closing the Straits of Tiran, closing the Suez Canal to Israel and moving their army into the Sinai as well as throwing the UN peacekeepers out. That should have taught the Egyptians that Israel was not after their land and should have been enough to start peaceful interchanges. Instead Israel now has to worry about a terror infested Sinai and a unfriendly government.

Egypt's current government has not demonstrated itself yet as being unfriendly.  The Sinai does not have the population density as the Nile River Valley.  Because the Sinai is so much open wilderness, it is easy for terrorists to operate out of there.  Israel has approach the Muslim Brotherhood about this, so far it has been brought to their attention.  Egypt is very much concerned about rocket firings coming out of Gaza into Israel, and will immediately broker a cease-fire.  We can go back to the Nasser Era, but we cannot say it will return.  Egypt lost four wars with Israel, and now Mohammed Morsi is in Anwar Sadat's shoes.  Politics makes strange bedfellows.  Assassinate a man, then be in his position.

Wrong as usual/ Morsi does not control the military:the military controls Morsi and the military controls the Sinai. Israel kept the terrorists out 1967-1998 and Mubarak up to Tahrir. Now this is not the case. You know very well that if terror from the Sinai increases that Israel will go in and re-occupy it. Another Israeli sacrifice for peace will than be wasted and the Arabs will have another excuse for whining.

Did you read the Article by the Palestinian Prime Minister from yesterday?

Why don't you just pray hard that Israel will retake the Sinai, and justify your extremist views.

What no reasonable reply available so you attack with that dreaded "extremist" label?

What days is the Torah used, than I can go and pray to shed my "extremist" views?
