Although this video is in French, I believe you won't need to understand the words - the images speak for themselves...just watch and enjoy!

Permalink Reply by Samira Al Kais on April 3, 2011 at 11:22pm Aha.. interesting. You know, reality is different for each person - there is nothing absolute, there is nothing we call truth - because truth is in the eyes of the beholder.
YOUR reality is NOT the one I live, NOR the one of someone who lost 4 children, her husband and her house in Gaza last week.
There is nothing called ONE reality or ONE truth.
Permalink Reply by Neri Bar-On on April 3, 2011 at 1:00pm I do not enjoy such videos
This show the palestinians as victims and the israelis as criminals.
this does not support peace, it is one sided untrue image of reality.
I know that there are Palestinians who are killed, and know of Jews who are killed. I meet thousands of palestinians (yes thousands) and non of them ever been in such situation where a solder aim to shoot him or her.
So it is important to keep in our minds that the situation in palestine in unaccepted. this must change but this images are making Peace image impossiable and their aim is not for peace, their aim is to convince people that Israel cannot make peace and this is bad message.
Permalink Reply by Samira Al Kais on April 3, 2011 at 11:26pm Well, even if I'm far away I know personally 9 people whose kids (all under 16) were killed without any reason. One girl whose mother was beaten to death by a soldier in front of her eyes (she's an art student in Al Quds University, and I met her on an exchange program), the others are close and extended family and/or friends.
And countless are the cases I hear about, read about or see on video - either in private or through the news.
Clearly - your reality is very different from our reality.
Permalink Reply by Jeff stern on April 4, 2011 at 12:08am This video does not contribute to peace..... I know almost a complete family that was wiped out when a suicide bomber blow themselves up in a pizza shop. Does that mean showing videos of Palestinians strapping on bombs walking into stores and murdering civilians is also reality?
And to use this as a way to promote peace? Only promotes hatred...it has no place here!
Permalink Reply by Neri Bar-On on April 5, 2011 at 3:48pm Neri, with respect, how do you respond to B'Tselem's report, Void of Responsibility? In recent days I have repeatedly raised this report on this site. For some reason people have not sought to engage with this particular report? It's arguments are compelling. I only came across this report in my own efforts to investigate how the Israeli civil and military justice system responded to the shooting of well known Palestinians, internationals and Israelis. The results of B'Tselem's report would suggest that most definitely that there are Israeli soldiers and civilians (ie settlers) who have raised their guns intentionally to shoot someone not directly involved in hostilities.
This is not about trying to make the situation black or white, but it is to try and acknowledge that Israel's military and civil justice system needs greater powers to adequately respond to the killings of Palestinians and others not directly involved in hostilities.
Permalink Reply by Jeff stern on April 4, 2011 at 5:59pm The video shows a Jew shooting unarmed people one after another - this is pure propaganda.
Stewart would you feel the same way - if it showed Palestinan children dress up like suicide bomber running into cafes and busses - with the point being that incitement must end? we have all seen the videos of children being brainwashed to be Martrys - would you not be upset if such a commercial was shown here as a strong message of peace?
Permalink Reply by Samira Al Kais on April 4, 2011 at 8:26pm There NEVER was one single child that blew itself up in Israel. NOT ONE!!
What if YOU, too, would read the report from B'tselem Stewart quote so that you know, at least, what he is talking about before you respond to something you don't even know...
What do you want, Jeff stern? That the ingenious population submits too the invader? Do you know what happened in India? In any other country colonized. Algeria by France, and and and. What happened there? The ingenious population bowed to the one with the guns - but not forever! They stayed, waited, and ultimately stood up against the colonial power. And even - as here in this video - like in India in a non-violent way. And as far as I know, many Israelis reach out their hands for them. Both sides have had enough of the constant war. Both just want to live. They want to live, together or separately, live their lives, raise their children without fear that their children could be killed by a suicide bomber or a settlers car in a hit-and-run accident (a cousins nephew was killed like that) or gunned down at age 12 because the boy was playing with a toy gun. Just watch the documentary "A Heart From Jenin" - available in Israel and abroad. The family of the 12 years old boy, nevertheless agreed to give the organs of his son to 4 Israeli children and saved 4 lives with the death of his son, killed by an Israeli bullet...
But as saw that you reply to things you don't even know (as you replied to Stewart blindly without having read the report he was talking about), it seems to me that you are one of these legendary Israelis who JUST DON'T WANT TO KNOW, because it's pretty embarrassing to see what one's own "most human army" really does.
Permalink Reply by Jeff stern on April 4, 2011 at 8:45pm Listen, I can start sending website and stories, I mean just take the last couple weeks 60 rockets shot into civillian towns where there is no army a family of 5 including 2 children and an infant mutilated while they slept. A bomb in a bus station.... this is not about that.
My point was simple the video you posted does not promote peace just hate. Please note that this site is not a pro- palestinian site or pro Israeli site it is pro peace. Both sides are not perfect.
Like I said before I do not want to argue about who has the right to the land - it will not help both sides have their claims. The point is lets try to work on building a peaceful future and not use hateful imagery...
Permalink Reply by Samira Al Kais on April 4, 2011 at 8:55pm And how many Palestinian women and children were KILLED, not only wounded, by Israeli missiles - in exactly the same time?
Please do your homework and bring us balanced statistics FROM BOTH SIDES.
Isn't that a forum were we try to be balanced and NOT one-sided, as you obviously are.
You present the statistics from ONE SIDE ONLY.
I want to see now the same statistics from the other side, to. Go ahead, please, and show me that you KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!
Permalink Reply by Jeff stern on April 4, 2011 at 9:45pm I do not want to fight, I think you are getting very worked up.
Statistics are not the point, killing civilians on either side is wrong - that is what I was stating. Both stories have sides and a narrative. Both sides have legitimate claims. You mentioned one side, I explained there is another. Remember the site is not mePalestine or meIsrael but mepeace..lets talk about solutions and stop with the hate.
