Hello
As you know already my name is Hagay and i am living in isRael, country where for 62 years there is only wars between brothers. the israeli jews and palesitne jews, yes, most of the palestine are jews but the zionist think that palestine are muslems wich is totally wrong.

I feel honor to contact you and inform you that we can make peace ONLY if we will be together. in the past i was try make unification between peace organizations but most of them dont want and dont understand that only together we can bring peace as we are family. The situation today is because fanatics religious\militar'politician are together, they are the manority but they are together and is why they can make wars, killings people, and be in the power in every country. they are the cancer of this humanity.

This is why i want you help to bring peace makers to my profiles and very soon i will send you program where i will tell you be in active and do actions. It's time to get up and not sit and wait for peace to come, because only by the target activity we can bring peace.

those who want be active please send me email with: NAME-COUNTRY-M\F and i you have 1 hour per day or 3 hours per week to make actions.

Thank you for all you help
I LOVE YOU

Hi everyone. I met some of you at the J-Street conference last fall. In my graduate study at MIT, I have been working on two projects related to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

The first is a new map of the Occupation, online at http://groundtruth.media.mit.edu/ It shows the path and makeup of the wall, the footprints and growth of the settlements, the location of checkpoints, and provides a searchable interface. It is by no means a final product, but it provides much better context to the "facts on the ground" than Google Maps.

My masters thesis project is called the Boycott Toolkit (http://boy.co.tt/), and is now ready for launch. The Toolkit enables users to research companies and their relationship to the conflict, share findings with their friends, and organize collective economic action. I have started several campaigns related to Israel and Palestine: a boycott of products made in the settlements, a list of vineyards in the Golan, and Palestinian products that support peaceful development. The site is entirely user-generated and open for everyone to contribute.

I would appreciate your help in spreading the word about these sites, and I would also love to hear your feedback generally, as well as advice on how to further engage the activist community.

Yiftah, I definitely agree with you. Maybe its my wishful thinking that's speaking - that if we all "push" strong enough it will help the pendulum shift the direction of its movement. I also enjoy writing op-eds, its a good way to let "steam" out;) In any case, writing Op-eds for US papers is as important (if not even more) than writing for Israeli ones... I hope you try to publish, I think there are good chances to get published, even in the major news outlets...

Are you all far from NY? We can think of meeting one day and discussing all these issues would be great to meet in person.

Have a nice week,
Daniel

I think that in any case we should be clear that US intervention in Israeli affairs is permanent - in the form of civil and military aid. If people want the US not to intervene in these issues they have to ask for the stopping any other intervention. Thus the argument that this is intervention and that it should stop is not valid. I also think its important that Israelis know there is a shift in the way things are seen here in the US and not only by Obama. So while its true that the constituency of J Street is the US I think it can also have an affect on Israelis but that will take time and also depends on people like us writing about it as much as we can in public..

Thanks Yiftah, the reactions did indeed sadden me - just proof that we need to write more, for US and Israeli media outlets...

Hi Daniel, I think we've met, but I can't remember where. I love your mom! Haokets is a great idea. We should also think about op eds in the Us. I have a contact in the middle east report if you'd like to publish something there.

Hi Eyal and Yael, nice to meet you!

Thanks for inviting me to this. One thing we can and should do is publish Op-eds about J Street, in the US and Israel.

I did in Ynet: http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3796760,00.html

It would also be important to introduce the left (or whats left of it) in Israel to J Street, maybe we can write to Haoketz? Any other ideas?

Have a great week end,

Daniel
