I have been very heavily involved with Seeds of Peace.  In Israel, I set up a meeting between a Jewish girl and an Arab family.  When they met they exchanged gifts, the Jewish girl gave a book holder for placing an open Qu'ran on, and the Arab family gave her a Kiddush cup.  Later, they sat down and talked, and the Arab family wanted to redecorate their home.  The conversation all that afternoon, was about redecorating a home.  But it was the first time, this Jewish girl carried on an intimate conversation with an Arab.  It was the first time this Arab family carried on an intimate conservation with a Jew, despite speaking to soldiers at an army checkpoint.  It gave them both a chance to discover how human they really were.

Are there Seeds-Of-Peace meeting in Israel throughout the year? Can anyone join?
