A big giant Human Rights Violation in action

A big giant Human Rights Violation in action

The entrance to the village of Jan'a,
near Dolev-Talmon, in Samaria.
Like most Israeli roadsigns, the sign is in Israel's three main languages (Hebrew, Arabic, English). Are Israeli Arabs also forbidden from entering?

Oh, and I found out the answer to my question.
Arab Israelis are also forbidden by Israeli law from entering area A.

This whole approach to laws is way too nonchalant and paternalistic about people's rights.

Ben - I like the way you think!

"wither if they are Israeli or Palestinians such sign, if it was in Denmark or other contry people well only ecept it ,just if thear are an epadami like beards flouanza or colira"

I agree. That was my point. Thank you.

Basil,
I know it's an Israeli sign. I didn't say anything about Palestinian law here (yet...).
I am criticising ISRAEL for this.

I agree with you Basil in regads of who put this sign and wich its violeat human rights wither if they are Israeli or Palestinians such sign, if it was in Denmark or other contry people well only ecept it ,just if thear are an epadami like beards flouanza or colira ...... and some how I do agree with Yiqal as an ordenary Israeli that b coz in his mind if he or she kross the line they well be no grantee for his or her life ... that why this sign even they know its violeat the international low of human right for thear owen people bu rather do that insted of loosing them.

and thats my point this things must or I hope one day well stop ( Luther King ) I have a dream ........... ;o(
I have seen once in youtube once tow Israeli by mestake drive in Palestinian territory and they get beeting from palestinians yuoth and run for thear lifes..... I felt realy petty ( 7aram ) for thise tow guys even one of them have solder (tøj- malabes) on ....... and I dont justefy what the Palestinians youth don to them ..... but think if thise tow been stoped with respect to thear degnaty and been told that they drive in rowng place and drive back then I am 100% scur that we geaned tow pro Palestinian Israeli......... on the other hand I can understand why this palestinians youth act the way they did ........... its all rowng ( its 7aram in Islam, 7aram in Jewdism and 7aram in cristian...... itc.)

The sign is rather clear, Yigal, it is an Israeli law. It says, and I read it twice, "Illegal entry by Israeli law". It didn't say by Palestinian law. You could argue that the Israeli Government is violating the law of its Jewish citizens who want to enter since the law originated with the State of Israel. I checked into it, and it said that it is an Israeli law. Essentially, PA security are supposed to hand in Israelis to the Israeli Government if they come in to PA administered areas.

Israeli enters Jericho; returned to Israel

Published: 02.04.09, 09:28 / Israel News

An Israeli citizen accidentally entered the West Bank city of Jericho overnight. The man was detained by Palestinian security forces and Civil Administration officers and turned over to Israeli police.

The IDF reiterates that Israelis are forbidden from entering areas under the Palestinian Authority's control (Area A), and are strongly advised against entering Area B territories. (Efrat Weiss)

I'm with Ben.

No need to make excuses for the inexcusable.
The solution to those "security problems" is not preventing the innocent from exercising their rights,
but preventing the violence in a way that defends the rights of the innocent.

This kind of thing prevents coexistence from getting started.
As does accepting this as normal.

It is probably for security reasons or what have you. The Israeli government doesn't want Jews going to West Bank towns. Both the PA and Israel don't want to take any chances, I am assuming.
