Dear Ms Andrea

Sorry for delay.

Well, what we don't in peacebuilding. However, our assignments are 5R's (Reconciliation, Restructuring of state, Reintegration of ex-combatants, Rehabilitation and Relief and more and more Reconstruction). However, our knowledge in reconciliation is tacit and have done very little is so far done in this area. I hope we'll speed-up the works once Truth and Reconciliation Commission is formed. By the way, in which area you can share and contribute?

Hi andrea,
I thank you for invitation to Interfaith Pilgrimage to the Holy Land for Peace, Healing and Prayer. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the event otherwise I'd have a chance to share, life, with others what I was explained by my father and it is good and true what he observed and I wish that all people around the world learn and accept it as the truth.
Let's Council the Holy Land. Let's Council the wHole World.
When in 1967 that war erupted between Israel and Arabic States my farther said: They are still, like for centuries, fighting for the holy land. But imagine Maniuṡ, imagine the globe, imagine the earth from afar. Drain the whole water from its surface, all you going to be left with is a dry, solid ROCK!, dry solid land!. Wherever you put your finger on, on any place of this one solid land, it is going to land on the holy land. Isn't? The holy land is everywhere.
The whole world have to learn and comprehend and accept, especially people living in this particular area, people who live in Jerusalem, in the city of Peace.
THE HOLY LAND IS EVERYWHERE! Not only in Jerusalem, Mecca or any other 'holy' shrine or place on Earth. Wake up people, wake up to the Truth, to the True image of The Holy Land. Stop living this distorted image our father's fathers lived for so long. Wake up and accept the Truth and Reality. My father said it to me many years ago so I humbly repeat his Statement of Wisdom once again: THE HOLY LAND IS EVERYWHERE!
In Peace Forever,
Marek,
Initiator of www.peace365.org

A True Story By Faisal Al-kateep
I am a Palestinian Arab from Hizmeh, a village between Jerusalem and Ramallah. When I was 15 years old I fought against the Israeli Occupation in search of freedom. At that time I thought every Jewish person, whether soldier or citizen, man or woman, young or old, should be killed. I rejected the right for any Jew to live and every Jew was a target. I was just a kid, believe me, and I didn’t understand anything about politics or the Arab-Israeli conflict. I was arrested and sat in jail for 12 years. This was during the first intifada from 1987. At that time nobody talked about peace but only of violence. I matured during my time in jail. I started studying and reading books on politics, literature, poetry, and about the Madrid Conference.

It gave me hope to live in peace and dignity. I learned that violence only breeds violence and that peace is the only solution for the two nations, the only way for both to have a respectful and beautiful future. We live on the same land. We are neighbors. We drink the same water and both pray to a monotheistic God. We must live in peace on the basis of religion for God and land for everyone.
