We, the Citizens Of Planet Earth (COPE)... which let us remember is an abundant planet supporting and home to a myriad of lifeforms, amongst these ourselves... can argue ad infinitum about the ins and outs of borders and politics et al...etc etc ad nauseum with rivers of blood and pain flowing during the aeons. Profile Information

My personal story:
Well, this and why I want peace are very much interconnected. Hard to separate them out! So forgive if I end up repeating myself... tho perhaps is halfzheimers! ;-)

Born in UK, and having lived in UK, Canada, Australia during my life thus far, I consider myself a Citizen of Planet Earth. Though of Jewish birth, am non-practicing (rather misunderstood black sheep to some!) because my heart and soul are open to All being One, and I perceive the requirement of many living things, including ourselves, for sustenance & shelter.

It is now increasingly getting easier, yet for me along the path it has been at times difficult to live in a world that, although it has such a lot of wonderful people and attributes, also demands ommitment of choice of one thing over another in many matters, when deep inside I felt the pull towards All being One.

As I grew older, more and more I felt my role being that of one who both heals and connects, like the Nth American Spiderwoman for instance, and I awakened slowly to certain abilities in line with this.

Yet along the way I have of course made mistakes, choices, judgements - as oft we all do - and some of these have led to problems of some complexity (oh the tangled web we weave, tho in this case not to deceive!) in relationships, esp in family. I have come to see that peace and unity are my life work, and that this begins with loving & knowing self better, working towards peace starting in my own self (for instance: reactivity) and my family, and flowing outwards from there. I feel that what is within us and how we think and feel then flow on to our interactions with others, and even those things unsaid can still be felt/sensed. In essence, personal responsibilty.

And from there the journey unfolds, and it can be fall down and get up again, joyfully striving through love along the way. :-)
Why I want peace:
Before I say anything, please forgive me in advance if any of what I say shows my own limitations. I am the best I can be at this moment.

I see myself as a Citizen of Planet Earth and have always felt like we are all one family and to fight each other is to fight ourselves (the new film Incendies has this message very strongly in it, my hat off to both the writer of play and director of film!). There is abundance on this planet and no need for any of this fighting.

Yet in order to achieve these aims I feel like the core of things and not the symptoms needs to be recognized. Not so much on a blame level, for chicken or egg stuff can go on and on forever, but to simply awaken to the fragmentation & polarisation which have occurred, acknowledging what a waste all this is and to look honestly at what within our own selves has created this. In essence, again personal responsibility in how we treat ourselves and others... for I believe it flows outwards from there. If we cannot love ourselves then how can we love others?

Out of this and my intentions, came the idea and vision of Heart Bus, as a vehicle and bridge towards better things globally. My own feeling of it is that it came as a gift, and therefore I don't feel like I can lay claim or credit for it really, and I hope instead for it to be as much or more about building it together with others than achieving aims. Living, learning and loving along the way.

Many others are also working on things along same or similar hearted veins, with good intention, and I believe we all have something to share with each other. There is a definite shift towards better ways of interacting with each other and nothing would bring me more joy than being part of this and seeing it unfold.

So if you have the time, please would you have a look at Heart Bus, temporarily parked on Facebook as a think tank and to find others to help build the envisioned web hub linking us all up (or as many who wish to be part of it). Please feel free to check out the info pages which will hopefully (if the bones are properly there and it has been communicated well enough -forgive if not and please do feel free to ask!) and input is most welcome, as well as any skills etc anyone can help with.

Interests and activities:
To become as much of a good Citizen of Planet Earth as I can, joyfully striving to overcome limitations, and keeping in mind ho'oponopono (especially the part about people dong the best they can with what they know and have, and remembering we ourselves are part of 'people'), seeking the tools and help to do so from many areas, focussing on improving my communication and not just verbally, and first and foremost learning reverence and respect for all.

I also love music incl singing and playing my guitar. I need to go make dins now so will put more about interests and activities another time.
Something you didn't know about me:
A saying I came up with & have used for quite a few years: Getting along with people is a simple mathematical formula...just take the common denominator and leave the rest!
Favorite website:

How I found mepeace.org:
Someone very dear to me, who has my truest interests at heart, told me about it!
What I want to achieve here:
Work alongside others towards unity, as well as get input, assistance, etc for Heart Bus. And live and learn and laugh...and most importantly LOVE!

I must take care though not to spread myself too thin, as I am oft told... as I so wish to do good for others that I sometimes don't look after myself as well as I should!
Do you promise to respect others and our guidelines and not spam?
Yes

Thanks for accepting the friends request. It does not always happen, although, I must admit, both Jeff and Michael accepted, after much deliberation. So things are not quite as bad as they look.

I am passionate about peace (with some justice) for Palestine, and I would really like to see it in the next few years.

I look on Peace for Palestine is step 1 towards peaceful resolution of all international issues, because the UN has so totally failed Palestine, and documented it all as they - the UN - went along with failure after failure. there could never be a better example of how useless the UN has been in the face of helpless people.

I had relatives living in Palestine in the 30's and 40's so I know a lot about what happened in those times.
