I grew up in Jerusalem, to a Jewish- orthodox family and even attended elementary school in the Old City of Jerusalem. I was taught that "All humans were created in the image of god", therefore respect & appreciation towards the religious, cultural and ethnic diversity surrounding us was pretty much underpinned in my upbringing. Commitment to the most traditional forms of faith - Jewish, Christian, Muslim or other, is often confused with building walls between people. Thankfully, my parents taught me that faith demanded breaking down barriers between human beings.
Making a profession out of these perceptions, I am currently employed by "Rabbis for Human Rights" as I lobby the Knesset for Social & Economic justice, Civil, and Human Rights - in Israel and the PA.
