I am native to California, married to a Palestinian. His parents were victims of the 1948 Nakba. I know what Palestine was like before '48, during and after from the elder Palestinians of the Nakba. Some of our friends have parents of the 1967 Nakba.
We all want peace. For Arabs and those attached to them we are wearing tight shoes since 9/11 and then we watch our brothers and sister slaughtered from one country to the next. It's really disheartening. So I am pursuing peace and justice with this pearl of wisdom in mind: "You may either win your peace or buy it: win it, by resistance to evil; buy it, by compromise with evil."
- Why I want peace:
- I want my (all!) children to live in a safe and free world.
- Interests and activities:
- We work alot, travel during the summer, attend rallies and protests, meeting in our area(I do and my kids) . We have dual citizenship with US and Jordan because we live in both. I regard myself a citizen of the planet. To me it's all about education. Awareness is light and light extinguishes the dark.

I have not seen comments where this was posted on the Stuart Littlewood's (another comrad) website. I wonder the thought of peacemakers? Is there any opinion here with Gilad? He wants peace for everyone surely. The question is, what to do about the leaders who will not allow it?
