אני ערבי פלסטיני מהכפר חיזמה הנמצא בין ירושלים רמאללה
כשהייתי בגיל 15 נלחמתי נגד הכיבוש הישראלי
בשבל החופש הייתי חושיב כל אדם יהודי חייל או אזרח גבר או אישה קטן או גדול צריך לההרג
עד בא יום נסיתי לשלול לבן אדם את חיים שלו לא הייתי מכיר אתו היה בשביל יהודי וכל יהודי היא המטרה שלי להרוג
תאמינו לי הייתי רק ילד לא מבין כלום בפוליטיקה
או את הסכסוך הערבי הישראלי
בסוף נעצרתי לתקופה של 12 שנים
למדע כל זה קרה בשנת האינתיפאדה הראשונה 1987. באותו שלב. אף אחד לא מדבר על שלום
רק מדברים שני הצדדים רק על אלימות

התחלתי לגדול ואני בכלא התחלתי ללמוד לקרוא
ספרים על פוליטיקה. ספרות. שירה וסיפורים העולם.

Dear Constantin,

I am part of an organization called the Alliance for Middle East Peace. Briefly, ALLMEP is coalition of 55 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), who promote people-to-people coexistence between Arabs and Jews, Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East. I volunteered to go to Israel July 11-Aug 7 with the explicit goal of capturing our members' important and mostly unseen work on film. I am looking for someone to help me with video and audio for this.

A little bit about me (from a bio I have):
"Scott is currently completing a Masters of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University where he focuses on Israeli-Palestinian people-to-people programs. His most recent professional undertaking has been assisting American University professor and Fellow at the United States Institute of Peace, Mohammed Abu-Nimer, Ph.D. on research to gather and develop lessons learned and the challenges of evaluating peacebuilding and conflict resolution programs in conflict zones (specifically Israel/ Palestine, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines). Scott has experience in dialogue facilitation, online social network mapping, and field experience conducting ethnographic research on local peacebuilders in Israel/ Palestine.

I can't offer you any money for this. In fact, I am paying my way off of the excess of student loans! What I can promise, is that your footage will be shown to representatives of many world governments and has the potential to impact the lives of *millions* of people!! ALLMPEP has already convinced the United states nearly government 20 million for coexistence work between Arabs and Jews and it is our goal to convince the world donor community to establish a 250 million dollar per year fund for this work as well. We will give you due credit for your work and will try our best to help you w/ paid ventures in the future.

This is a synopsis I wrote in 2004 for a TV show series meant to actually develop a peace scenario. My thoughts have evolved some since, but if these directions interest you, I'll be happy to meet and explore cooperation possibilities.
