Hi, Diogo, thanks for being my friend. I am sorry I took so long to confirm this. I don't always check my e-mail very often. I am excited to be in mepeace. It helps me think that we can solve this and I am learning that others around the world want to work together for peace.

Sulha Peace Project

To build trust and restore dignity, from heart to heart and from village to village, moving beyond a specific political agenda, stereotypes, clichés, humiliation and despair.

Due to the Israeli – Arab conflict, Arabs and Jews in Israel and Palestine have very few opportunities to meet one another as equal human beings. This lack of personal contact causes mistrust, prejudice and perpetuates stereotypes.

The Sulha Peace Project, a grassroots organization, inspired by the indigenous process of mediation (“Sulha”), aims to rebuild trust, restore dignity and move beyond the political agenda.

Working primarily on the grassroots level, we are preparing people for peace from "bottom-up" and complementing peacemaking efforts that are undertaken at the governmental and diplomatic level.
Sulha Gatherings Around the World

A new language of peace has developed throughout the programs of the Sulha Peace Project.

It has served as inspiration for other communities around the world to take responsibility and adopt the Sulha Peace Project methodology for resolution of local conflicts. Sulha gatherings around the world support the peace process in the Middle East and contribute to spreading the work of the Sulha Peace Project.

So far, Sulha gatherings have been held in Australia and in the U.S.A.

ًWe must work together, and to do our best to achieve peace . All MUSLIMS, JEWS and CHRISTAINS all over the world should help because this land isn't for us only it is also for them, CHRISTAINS have to remember that JESUS- Peace be upon him- was born and lived here and blessed the people in the land.So all Christains have the right to come here freely and without fear.
