Profile Information

My personal story:
I was Born in Switzerland into a German family, moved to Germany for 5 years where we lived in the near vicinity of Berlin. I subsequently moved to the USA with my family and then moved for 12 years to South Africa. After graduating from High School in South Africa I moved to Germany where I began a Bachelors Degree in Intercultural Relations and Behaviour. As my interest began to flourish in the soziological and Psychological aspects of Conflict I began to look more and more into Conflict mediation. This brought me to Israel where I am now doing an Internship with ICCI where I will be helping the Organisation build up a Radio Station that promotes Intercultural Dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.
Why I want peace:
Peace is an ideal concept that one should strive for because as one no longer has to focus on reaching the bare neccessities in life one can begin to move up the ladder and focus on self actualisation. Peoples dreams can unfurl and create a word of constant innovation. Peace is not only a state where a society has become settled and harmonious it is also a step towards a person finding themselves and being able to develop under no constraints of fear, war or oppression.
Interests and activities:
Poetry, Radio, Mountainbiking, Philosophy, Visual and Lyrical Art
Something you didn't know about me:
my Ancestors were sock knitters in the Victorian times
Favorite website:
How I found
What I want to achieve here:
Promoting the idea of a peaceful coexistence through promoting a focus on commonalities and not differences.

Have a nice day

Thanks God bless.
