Profile Information

My personal story:: My name is Mohammad A , 26 years , from a small city in the north of west bank called Tulkarem , Im working now as a medical doctor in private sector , waiting for the admission to continue in my specialization of radiology .
Human rights is the field of my ultimate dream to work in , I always dream to work as a medical doctor with the Red Cross Organization in order to help oppressed people around the world because im coming from a region which is full of oppression and I can feel how other oppressed people would feel under these circumstances .

Why I want peace:: My trip to Germany last summer was a turning point in my life , It was under a program called (vacation of war) , in which we were two big groups from both sides , Palestinians and Israelis , gathered at one lovely peaceful place in Germany for 14 days , the aim of this program was to give us a chance to talk to the other side of conflict , to express for them our feelings experiences and thoughts , and to hear from them the same , in order to make our conclusion at the end of how can we change our reality toward a bright shiny future .
why it was a turning point for me ? first of all , it was the first time ever in my life to talk to someone from other side , to live with them , eat with them , talk to them , in such an environment in which I would not feel oppressed .
but the most important thing which made it really a real true turning point that i knew and discovered through this project my human side , I found myself for the very first time appreciating my human feelings away from other hate angry religious political traditional related feelings , during that program and right after it , I felt myself a true human without restrictions related to my religion or my nationality , It taught me how to look on others as humans , and deal with them as humans , it made me feel the missing inner peace .
to know why I was not having such a vision before that program , its because I was a radical young man same as many youth who got influenced by scenes of blood bombing killing and shooting all the time in their life , so during that project , we felt each other's pain , we shared smiles and tears , we had bounds of humanity growing up between all of us , which made us to cry at the end of leaving that place in which we became friends , leaving the place which made many of us , including me , to bring their hopes of peace and better future alive again .
now , I can say proudly , that I have faith , on myself and on others , that we can make anything possible as we are humans , and that's why i want PEACE .
One last thing to mention here, a great man his name is Martin Luther King , said "many people fear nothing more terribly than to take a position which stands out sharply and clearly from the prevailing opinion . the tendency of most is to adopt a view that is so ambiguous and so popular that it will include everybody".
In other words , most people are afraid to take a position which stands out or is different from the mainstream opinion , most people join the popular vague opinion , but not me , not me anymore .
So , there must be some kind of negative effects on my life , like standing out from the mainstream opinion of my people , and sequences following this issue , but I don’t care anymore about these negative things , as im a dreamer of peace , which , for sure , will give future kids , including mine , the childhood and life which I didn’t have .

Interests and activities:: Organizing meetings and trips for youth groups from palestine and Israel .
playing and watching Football .
hanging out with friends .
meet new people , having new friendships with them , and make them "PEACE Soldiers" .
reading articles online .
