- My personal story:
- Mohsin Khan is presently working as Program Head-M&E and Orphans’ Welfare Program READ Foundation Pakistan (www.ho.readfoundation.org) which run one of the largest educational network in Pakistan, promoting quality education in the most vulnerable area in AJK, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan and rural areas of Islamabad since 2010 with key role in Project planning, monitoring, organizing and coordination and evaluation and capacity building of program staff in liaison with different stakeholders (National & International). Similarly assists in policy development for quality assurance of program, data management of 8000+ orphans and 340 institutes as per organizational policies. Similarly in his professional career;
Working as District Program Coordinator-Science for Youth (S4Y) Islamabad under NAYS (www.nays.com) and Pakistan Science Foundation (www.psf.com) in collaboration with International Young Scientist Academy (www.iysa.com) since November 2012 till to date.
Worked as Research Associate-project on “Evaluation of test crosses in Maize variety Sarhad White for morphological and grain yield” in KPK Agricultural University Peshawar (www.au.edu.pk) for one year (2010-2010)
Teaching & administration experience as a Junior Lecturer (Biology/Science Subjects) in a reputed college (PPC) in Peshawar for more than three years (2007-2010)
Work as Senior Art coordinator in Pakistan International Human Rights Organization Youth Wing Peshawar (www.phiro.org) region for one year voluntarily.
Worked as a Stage & Press Secretary AANS (www.aans-UCC.com) under Anti Narcotics Force Ministry of Narcotics Control Pakistan (www.monc.gov.pk & www.anf.go.pk) for one year
Professionally:
Administrative experience of more than three years in youth and child development programs for national and international non-governmental organizations
He is currently engaged in developing planning strategies, operational framework for eMIS and Orphans welfare and provides inputs into organizational planning information gathering,
Research, developing proposals and technical report writing are areas of specialization.
Key interest areas of research are education, child development, water and sanitation, poverty alleviation, agricultural development, natural resource management, educational policy and framework. (detail given in resume)
Conducted training workshops on child and mother education, leadership and management, project management, sustainable rural development, public relations and report writing
Academically:
Master of Philosophy (MPhill) in Rural Development with major in Project management, NGO management, natural resource management, Research and development.
Master of Science in Agriculture with specialization in Plant breeding and Genetics
Besides having Master degree in Agriculture, various professional certified courses in Education leadership & management, project management, Journalism, Public relation, Community Health & computer application. Having a strong command on Various Software (MS-Office, Coral Draw, Adobe Photo Shop, MSTAT-C, Widow Xp, Internet Explorer) & Hardware maintenance.
