Profile Information

My personal story:: I served in the German army for 8 years and was, during that time, deployed to several peace support operations. At the moment I'm studying towards a degree in International Studies. My main research area is the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. I speak/understand Hebrew and Arabic to an extent.

Why I want peace:: The conflict simply can't go on that way. What is needed is an approach that focuses on human security instead of traditional (military) security. I would like to help people empower to work towards a lasting peace solution.

Interests and activities:: I like learning languages (mostly in my free time), music, and, most of all, my family (my wife and our 5-year old daughter).

What I want to achieve here:: Predominantly, I'd like to seriously discuss with others the Middle East conflict and possible solutions to it.

This parliament will be sending suggestions to both the Knesset and Palestinian Legislative Assembly, who will have veto power over it. One thing this parliament will be tackling is borders.
