Profile Information

My personal story:
I am using the art of magic to express my beliefs and bring more magic and wonder to this world. My show is about how we create the reality we live in, how we are all magicians and how to become more sensitive and tolerant.
I have performed in many contries live and on TV.
For a period of two years I volunteered as a lecturer at a violence prevention organization, bringing children, teachers and general population,(jewish, arabic, and all minorities) helping them gain new realizations on happiness and moral values. During that time I learned (teaching others is probably the best way to learn) that minds can change instantly and firm opinions that were once unchangeable can be brought to melt, leaving the person with hope and willingness to cooperate. It does not require any magic, It only requires listening and showing care.
I am a father to a 14 year old son.
Why I want peace:
:-)
Why I want peace, is a very simple question to answer:
For a very big smile!
It will make me and so many other people so happy!
I believe our lives are interrelated and we affect all those arround us, and are affected by them as well.
I love to love people. I don't like to know that I am being hated for something that I am not. I think we all are individuals, even when we belong to groups, or nations, and it is a basic need to live with dignity.
Our world is so full of wonders and challanges to conquer and it is a complete waste of time to struggle over a small piece of land, especially when we can share it as our forefathers did.
The world today is advancing at a rate that should enable us to rid ourselves of fixed ideas and prejudice and to focus on living better lives - not on killing each other, on advancing scientific research, not on promoting violence, on saving our planet's resources, not destroying them by means of mass destruction.
I believe every person should have rights, at least as per the declaration of human rights. And I truely believe in the golden rule that one should try to treat others the way they want to be treated.
I think peace is necessary for any prosperity that is not at the expense of exploitation.
I hope you and I can agree that we both deserve to live a better and more fulfilling life. I hope we an agree that having our sons kill each other in the name of a vengeful god is not a desired solution to the problems we face. I hope we could trust each other and do business that will benefit our families and bring fruits to the fields we once battled on.
I hope we can hug and say its over!
It is happening.
I know you are reading this and saying to yourself "Yes! I want that peace too!". This is great and we need your voice to grow stronger. Add more people here and let their minds be heard.
Leaders don't make peace. You and I do! Me and you, and more me's and you's, until leaders will have no choice but to face reality.
Remember, every change ever made was done by the people!
Governments only care of maintaining the status quo.
Being a magician I discovered that magic can only happen when we allow ourselves to believe that it is real.
We can do magic! Magic that our children and grand-children will remember us for. We will be proud of saving precious lives. We will be proud of creating common workplaces. We will be proud of having old foes become loved friends.

Can you feel the magic? :-)

Other than my website I have formed a group on facebook called "god is in us all" and I invite those of you who might challenge their religious leaders to join it at http://www.elohim.org.il
Something you didn't know about me:
my dog is 7 years old, mixture of labrador and chowchow, named Rachel
Favorite website:

How I found mepeace.org:
facebook
What I want to achieve here:
I have no idea yet. I just saw this site and liked the idea of it so I signed in to say hello to all the people who feel like me.
Communication is always better than walls, and I feel that the internet allows us to overcome the barriers between us. I always hated walls between people and was very disappointed with Israel's decision to put one between us.
I have been part of several groups that all shared the wish for peace in the middle east. I have gone to the occupied trritories and met people living there who were kind enough to invite me to their homes and shown me their best hospitality. They are wonderful people and I wish them all the best.
My wish is that we can remove the mental blocks that keep us from trusting each other. No more "I will trust you if you trust me".
I trust you and hope you do the same because we both are people of respect and we respect the other's property, safety and health.
If my words moved you in some way, please write to me and I will be happy to respond.
Good luck to us all and I hope this takes us a step forward in our quest for peace.
I also want to thank the person who had the idea of bringing this site alive :-)

Interestingly, the origin of the word Peace comes from pacisci "to covenant or agree". Replaced O.E. frið, also sibb, which also meant "happiness."
The Hebrew word Shalom means "safety, welfare, prosperity.".

I wish us all Shalom! and soon :-)
