Profile Information

My personal story:
For over 35 years, I have been engaged in activities promoting peace and reconciliation between Palestine and Israel. I am currently a board member of The Israel Palestine Project, and co-editor of TIPP's first initiative, A Common Historical Narrative. In my "other life", I am an architect, urban designer, and town planner.
Why I want peace:
In my work as a town planner, I am dedicated to the proposition that cities hold the possbility to fullfll humanity's highest aspirations for global stewardship, abundance, community, and creative self-expression. This vision is founded on the rock of peace. Without peace, nothing else is possible.
Interests and activities:
Design (all applications), public speaking, writing and editing, website development, politics and political activism, public involvement facilitation, urban research, promotion of public transportation and "smart growth", travel, photography, musical performance.
Something you didn't know about me:
I am a journeyman letterpress printer - keeper of a "lost art!"
Favorite website:
http://www.livablecities.org
How I found mepeace.org:
Fellow members of The Israel Palestine Project
What I want to achieve here:
To participate in a growing international conversation, out of which is made possible the flowering of an immense, yet-unimaginable future for Palestine and Israel, the Middle East, and the world.
