The next Jerusalem Hug will be on Sunday, July 3rd 2011The Jerusalem Hug takes place every year since 2007. These events were joined by more than 5.000 participants; residents of Jerusalem, Palestinians and Israelis, as well as peace activists from all over the world. We embraced the Old City of Jerusalem, walking hand in hand around the city walls. We stood shoulder to shoulder, sharing our wish for peace and our love for Jerusalem.   The aim is to promote a peaceful experience; a foretaste of…See More

Hi Rob- do you think there will still be a Jerusalem hug this year? I'd really like to be there, since I'm a citizen of Chile I can still get a visa to Israel, or as a Quaker? I'm a little sad that Venezuela has thrown out both the USA and Israel ambassadors (over 2 different problems), and the protests here against Israel got more than a little violent, though it wasnt rare for Venezuela- that kind of violence is seen here everyday. And here near the Colombia border, even more... as Juanes sings of Colombia, I say of Israel "I ask G-d that my land doesn't spill so much blood and that my people can get up (off the floor)" A DIOS LE PIDO que mi pueblo no derrame tanta sangre y se levante mi gente!!!

never give up the fight or the cause we must try to support more continuous solutions what can work. the more you do to other people the harder it is to talk
like what happen before in Gaza and now again it makes it more harder to stop is bitterness every thing hurts

giving up is some thing we wud not want as peace makers I agree I just disappointed what is going on... the violence I would never give up the fight cause if we all did we wouldlose the hope of making peace work with others.

that would be what saten loves in those who are war makers but show reason I wud nevergive up my self its just sad to seet his not mending with both sides

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your work to promote peace!

I got your letter about the upcoming Jerusalem Hug
What is it you want me to send?
Can you please clarify?

And: Please be more accurate with the numbers of participants in the Hug
I was there in the first one - there is no way there were 2000 people
The 2nd Hug was even smaller - much smaller
I believe that part of being Peace is getting the facts right...

Any way: Love, Peace and Unity are not measured in numbers
It is the connection and intention between the people that makes

Blessings
Maoz
