Profile Information

My personal story:
I visited Israel in 2010 and really enjoyed my time. I had an IDF tour guide who pushed the Israeli agenda, but not overbearingly. The following semester I took a course on Middle Eastern politics taught by a professor who was obviously pro-Arab. That November I met Eyal in Lisbon at the YAS Summit and we've been friends since.
Why I want peace:
I've seen both sides of the issue and neither have the moral high ground. I believe that the Israeli issue is a key component of the animosity that the Arab World has towards the West. It would be a tragedy for the West and the Arab World if the concerns of both were not respectfully addressed but it is ridiculous to assume that either side is going to get all that they want. This peace cannot be sustainable if forced with power, but must founded in reason and compassion.
Interests and activities:
Volleyball, Traveling, Languages
Something you didn't know about me:
I love to write Chinese calligraphy
