I'm one of those whi signed the Haaretz petition of September 22, 1967. I left Israel in 1975 when it became clear that the government was pushing settlement activity - meaning, for me, that there would be no chance of peace. I left Israel, and returned to the US. I wish I could contact some of the other signers of that petition, in particular Raif Elias, Arieh Bober and Chaim Hanegbi (I know that my dear friend Dan Omer died many years ago).ShneorSee More

- My personal story:
- Lived in Israel 1963-68 and 1971-75. Left for good when it became clear that the government was in favor of settlements and ready to provide massive financing. Ergo, peace was not possible.
