- My personal story:
- since i know myself i always works and active in the peace feild. in the last years i worked as a coordintor of the network for arab jewish coexistence in israel . this position enabled me to be in constantly contact with most organizations and active people who engages in this feild . also i work in the center for research on peace education. in addition in my personal life i am very active in many activities for peace and soacial change organization
- Why I want peace:
- when we have real peace this may provid us the space to invest our energy in positive spaces and then we can give our life an essential meaning and path

- reading, walking, meeting friends and people from different cultures,nature, writing poems

If not acting and moving these days then when?

I have been in Akko (the name I prefer and not acre) the last few days after the clashes began, in order to try helping in any field and ways possible to prevent more damage and deterioration in the Arab-jewish relationship. Also I called every one I know from akko to ask about the real situation which not always described accurately by the media.

I really like what you wrote. Coexistence between us is very important. We should realize how similar we are and this realization may help us overcome our differences... I totally identify with the idea of "peace education". Education gives hope for a brighter future and opens our minds. On a more personal note, I'd like to say that I also love to enrich myself culturally...

I hope tp make a real progress for changing this area reallity towards peace.
It is not going to be easy... Nevertheless I will keep on doing what I did till now - find peace friends in the Gaza strip and having mutual projects with them.
I am quite in a shock right now but I wil recover and continue doing what my beleives tell me - that we are all entitled for good and happy life and that peace is possible - always possible !

I think its a good idea to open up a discussion about lessons learned, although I havent lived in South Africa for the past 9 years. I am more connected to what is happening here. I work for the Quartet (Russia, America, Europe and the United Nations). the main focus at the moment is intitutions and capacity building in the West Bank.
