- My personal story:
- i was born and raised in the washington, dc metro area. i studied communication design from 1997 to 2001 at carnegie mellon univ in pittsburgh. while living in pittsburgh i met my husband david. in 2004 we became one of the first american same-sex couples to legally marry in massachusetts.
in 2007 david and i immigrated to israel together, and we have lived in tel aviv since our arrival.
- Why I want peace:
- why wouldn't anyone want peace?
i personally enjoy very much learning about other cultures and religions, meeting people who are different then myself, and sharing personal stories and family/national/ethnic traditions. i am against violence and believe that peace is always possible.

- fine art and design, contemporary music (hip-hop, electro, house, old skool, funk, soul, r'n'b), funny tv and movies, ganja, beach, chillaxin, fashion, travel, good food, cute animals, nature

בסוף נעצרתי לתקופה של 12 שנים
למדע כל זה קרה בשנת האינתיפאדה הראשונה 1987. באותו שלב. אף אחד לא מדבר על שלום
רק מדברים שני הצדדים רק על אלימות
התחלתי לגדול ואני בכלא התחלתי ללמוד לקרוא
ספרים על פוליטיקה. ספרות. שירה וסיפורים העולם
קרא על רג 'יב גנדי ומרטין לותר גנג ותאמין לי שהם נותנים לי תקווה הצטערתי לשמוע או לקרוא אותם לפני המעצר שלי, כי למדתי מהם חוויותיהם כי אלימות רק מולידה אלימות
וגם לקרוא על הדת היהודית ועל הנצרות וכמובן על דת האסלאם ועל ההיסטוריה הדתית של פלסטין
אנחנו בני אברהם, יצחק,
אנחנו חיים על האדמה, אחד הקדושים לנו יש את השפה שלנו ואת הקירבה לשפה עברית
