What do we want?

I think, and many will agree with me, that if many people, millions, want something, they can do it, even if there's a smaller group that doesn't want it to be.
If this is true, and I believe it is, it should be easy to make peace, because so many people want peace. But the problem with peace, that it's not tangible*. In our mind, we have a picture of the peace that we are looking for. I think, that those pictures might be different for each of us, and so there aren't many people that want the same thing, but many people that want many different things.

So now I'm asking you a simple question, that can bring interesting answers- What is peace?

Shalom-salaam Shaii,
Do you have a Facebook account? There's a group there called Israeli-Palestinian Confederation that's doing something similar to your Peace Game! Their description says:
"The purpose of the group is to engage in a legislative discussion and a vote under the umbrella of a mock Israeli Palestinian Confederation.
We hope to have a total of 300 legislators to represent Israelis and Palestinians." (They have more than 300 now, but people can still join in.)
I guess they skipped over the negotiating part, lol! Anyway, if you want to check it out you can find it at:

Shaiiki, I believe peace is many things. But I think it starts with live and let live.
It stops when one side tries to disturb the other side's life.
If we could concentrate on what really important - food, education and health, this whole planet would be a different place.

Such an important question, Shaii. I like EshaMeena's answer. To me, what peace looks like has nothing to do with states (whether there are 1 or 2 or 0 or whatever). It begins with empathy, which leads to a generous and compassionate spirit in how you treat yourself and others. That can feel risky at first, but it's the basis on which relationships and trust are built.
