Israeli Peace Education

Someone recently posted a picture of Israeli children writing their names on shells, entitling it in incendiary fashion with the words "Jewish Peace Education." The next day, it was changed to "Israeli Peace Education."

There were many thoughts that came to mind. One thought was this: Wouldn't it be just as possible for anyone to find a picture of an Arab Palestinian reveling in a terroristic act against Jews and… Continue

What's So Wrong With A Nuclear Iran?

On the face of it, it may be possible to make a reasonable case for Iran’s right to develop nuclear weapons. After all, Iran is an independent nation, and as such, should have the right to self-determination. If Iran perceives a threat from its enemy, Israel for example, which does possess nuclear weapons; shouldn’t she have the right to counter that threat with a nuclear arsenal of her own? Why should Israel be singled out as the one state in the Middle East that is allowed to have a nuclear… Continue

Philosophical Reflection on ' Certainty'

Seeker of Knowledge, Lover of Wisdom

What is it we do not understand, and what needs to be understood, that is the intelligible question we must ask ourselves when our brain runs wild in search of certainty.

The human brain, unique in the entire universe in its complexity, composed of over 200 billion nerve cells. Each cell has a purpose, and unique in its function. Each nerve cell links and joins in an enchanted appearance of over quadrillion… Continue

Lend for Peace

A Palestinian woman who loves to cook needs a loan of $2000 to buy a fridge and a rotisserie for her small restaurant. Through LendforPeace.org, a global non-profit that puts individual lenders in touch with vetted Palestinian entrepreneurs, we can do something constructive to help her out of poverty without making her a recipient of charity.
