Acknowledgment and its role in the reconciliation process

One of the things that I have run across time and again is the power of acknowledgment. I think it is incredibly important for humans to feel acknowledged, but it is frequently overlooked. It is explored in art, literature, psychology, anthropology, and religion extensively. It comes up in highly successful programs among victims and perpetrators here in the US (I just saw another headline that those who commit crimes are far less likely to be repeat offenders if they have been required to make… Continue

Anna Baltzer and Dr. Mustafa Barghouti on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: An interesting look at US media and reactions to open discussion about Israel and Palestine

A few months ago I was privileged to meet Anna Baltzer, a Jewish-American woman working for peace among Israelis, Palestinians, and their supporters, and sharing information that is difficult to find in the US. Her presentation was completely in alignment with what I had personally observed during my travel in Israel and the West Bank. She is compassionate toward all who are suffering, and all who are confused about the issue, and her presentation was clear, detailed and disarming. I was deeply… Continue

this is still up to date.

am convinced that if enough people emanate peace at this time, peace will spread the goal is to reach a situation in witch everybody can accept and honer everybody else so that there is no rejection anymore... 4 sure we only accept that what we agree... with...so maybe we start reflecting on what we agree to check if this is still up to date.

The Viral Belief that Plugs-into our Brain at Night

The way the entity of viral beliefs plugs itself into our brain, and damage our full potential, is so different from how our brain is actually wired, and designed to empower you. Each night, you are vulnerable when you fall asleep as the entities of the viral beliefs pervade our nervous system, and render our state of mind a cacophony during the day.

The experience you are having affects the destination you are heading… Continue

On way to Washington after super 'Peace Talks' in New York

Update: 'Peace Talks' in New York on Sunday was fantastic! Good people came to support us. Also this weekend I spoke about MEPEACE at Kehillat Romemu, a Jewish community of peacemakers sharing and supporting our goals.

• In 2007, there were 22,000 deaths globally due to acts of terrorism; over half were Muslim.

• Each year, human beings die due to poverty and malnutrition.

A Miracle

Hi all,

I want to share with you the miracle that a friend of mine had with the TB for Health.

I have a female friend who I see every now and then, in the period when I first met her, I could notice that she didn't feel so good with herself. About her life and her health. Her self image was very low, and I got the feeling that she had the belief that she was not worth a lot. She had no job at that time and looked unhealthy, dry hair, brown area underneath her eyes,… Continue

Should the Palestinians Accept a Jewish State: A Constructive Debate From an Israeli and Palestinian Perspective.

In Haaretz, my fruitful exchange/debate with Palestinian writer Aziz Abu Sarah on whether the Palestinians should accept Israel as a Jewish state. Paradoxically this is one of my most conservative (I side with Netanyahu) and radical (see conclusion) articles ever. I also believe that this exchange is one of the most original and creative surrounding this topic. I urge you to pass this to friends, repost on your blogs… Continue

Obama does not deserve the Nobel Prize

Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize came as a surprise to many, including U.S. President himself, the man did not offer any real accomplishment on earth can qualify for this award, and the old power is not more than nine months, which he still fumbles his way through a minefield high explosive, both domestically or internationally.

It was usual to grant this award the most important of the peers of people ended wars or they took a weapon, we do not believe that President…
