I just found out about this really cool media organization called "Gaza Sderot-- Life in Spite of Everything." The website consists of several videos of the struggles, horror and violence that people on both sides (Gaza + Sderot) have to witness. Each day is dedicated to one side.
One day they will show a video from Gaza; the next from Sderot-- they rotate.
These are the types of organizations that I admire, and I really hope to work more with these someday.
Here is the… Continue

“Where are you and what are you doing?” asked my concerned parents from thousands of miles away.
I took a deep breath.
“I’m back in Jerusalem, after spending the day in southern Hebron with a hundred Israeli and international activists helping rebuild a Palestinian family’s home that was demolished by the Israeli army.”
“Don’t you understand that going to the West Bank is putting your mind and body in danger? Why can’t you travel like a… Continue

Love is a abstract concept which could be defined in so many ways. Love is one of human instinct which is most important for human survival. Love at individual , community, national or international level but Love is a Love which can not be defined from single perspective.
Peace is a collective as well as individual demand on various grounds. Love and peace are two sides of coin. Love promote peace and peace sustain love .
Harmony is combination of both. Harmonic relationship with… Continue

In the name of God
The night and the wet eyes of doubt
is behind the fence of times
if your wings are not opened
then where is youe hope of flying?
dont let the flame of your eyes to fire the home
and your little doll break in the pane of mirror
see the sunset of the sun
The Cage is small for you
on your old wound of your heart
Only Freedom is Salve

Two young boys, brothers, were playing in the forest by a river and were having a lot of fun.
When they were getting ready to go back home, they saw down the path an old man coming toward the river.
"Let's hide," said the younger brother, "and maybe we can have some fun with that old man."
So they hid behind a bush and watched as the old man arrived at the river. The old man took off his shoes, and then walked into the river to wade and splash. He thought he was… Continue

Love Oneness entirely with all mind, body and soul always; if not fix it and say sorry for not doing so.
Humble your self, expecting nothing that you can do, can be done with out working in Oneness for all, not self.
Have No cares for (I am=) Ego, be still and trust in God is we are, and “yes you are”!
Live in Oneness, to live in God, live in self to live in EGO (=Viruses).
No image of Good, as Oneness (=The Rainbow Logic) created already does a… Continue

I found this really cool website called "Othervoice," which works towards helping the people on both sides, not just focusing on one side, but not the other. I am getting sick of people choosing sides, and claiming that oh "Life in Sderot must be like heaven towards what is happening in Gaza." We need to realize that people are experiencing violence on both sides, and we the people, must work together to work towards peace. We must realize that it's the governements fault, not our… Continue

I just started a new group on here "J-Street," and I plan to start a few other groups on here as well.
I am having trouble trying to invite people HERE ON MEPEACE. I tried to go to the button on the page that says "Invite Others," but it goes straight to inviting friends that are not on mepeace (like the same application as adding friends that are NOT on mepeace). If someone could please help me out, that would be great!
Thanks for all your help

The Israeli General Elections are in the offing and soon the parties will be campaigning in order to win. One does not have to be a genius to realize that no party will gain an absolute majority. The idea of peace between Israel and her neighbours, especially her Palestinian neighbours, will be regarded as a hot potato by the triumvirate (Likud, Kadima and Labor). This will not be given high priority as it should. The party that makes peace as part of its agenda will not gather much… Continue

When I read this, it just shock me how true it is, and how simply it can represent what is happening in our small world. I did'nt know if to laugh or to cry. What can we do ? If every one of us do his part, our world will surly be a better place to live in, If we cant do anything personal to any of those needy people around us, or do anything about the injustices, i am sure we can say a prayer. So here it goes.

Almost every legal system recognizes self-defense as a legitimate legal defense. If somebody is coming at you with an ax, and you have a reasonable concern for your life, and you have no means of escape, then you have the right to protect yourself, even if it means shooting the guy in the head. In short, the right to defend oneself is the right to take the life of another.
But is it possible that the right to defend oneself is being stretched so thin, that it crosses over into the… Continue

One year ago today a friend passed into the next plain of existence. I dwell not in the sorrow of the death of her humanself, but, rather, I celebrate the birth of her new existence.
The funeral was on November 22 - Toronto's first snow fall of 2007. Ironically, today was our first snowfall and when I gazed out my window I saw her standing there, smiling and wishing me Light and love. Her life in this plain was one of tragedy and… Continue

This week I started my masters studied at Ben Gurion University. I will study Conflict Management and Resolution this coming year and next, all the while committed to our community's growth.
As I watch our community of peacemakers grow, I am reinforced in the belief that Midde East peace is possible. And yet we have to bring it.
This summer I made the commitment to dedicate myself over the next two years and acquire knowledge for… Continue

It breaks my heart.
