I can only ask myself, why aren’t all Jews here? What don’t all Israelis support the principles of J Street? Why can’t we bring 2,000 Israelis together for an intensive three-day seminar focused on justice, democr acy, peace and security? We have a lot to learn from J Street. http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Article.aspx?id=210245
The conference featured some inspiring and many times witty talk. The Egyptian author Mona Eltahawy reminded the audience of the need for direct contact with the Arab public and called on them to "stop being narcissistic - not everything is about Israel, for a change it's about us," she said, referring to the upheavals in the Arab world.

Thanks for this Narine.  Mona Eltahawy is truly a powerful speaker.  A strong call that the people have spoken in the Middle East and North Africa and want freedom; and end to dicatorshps and an end to occupation and control.  A strong example of nonviolent social change in Tunisia and Egypt.  The belief that the people will overcome Gaddafi.  The reminder that peace in the region demands respect for the people not dictator's that have the support of Western powers.
