Seeking partneres

Hello Peacemakers,
I'm seeking your partnership and contribution in forwarding a new converssation for peace and taking action.
With that in mind please give me your feedback on all that is happening with Where Peace Lives. I am committed to being a active member with MePeace and completely support its mission of bringing people together.
Where Peace Lives has been nominated for a 2009 Garden State (New Jersey, USA) Film Festival Award in the Category of "Family" for its Kids-Teaching-Kids through Film Making Program completed with the Conerly Rd. School, Somerset, NJ.
This program had 1st through 4th graders look at issues they and their peers face. They then participated in improv workshops, developed skits, worked out solutions, wrote scripts, and then were filmed to share their work with all schools in the Somerset School District.
We are currently working with students at the same school focusing on addictions facing grammar school children.
Where Peace Lives is partnering with the Revision Theater of Asbury Park, NJ (www.ReVisionTheatre.org) in order to reach out to the community and start a conversation about alternative options and choices in conflict resolution.
The Revision Theater is producing "The Kingdom," inspired by the true stories of current and former Latin Kings. KINGDOM chronicles the journey of two kids from the barrio in a quest to belong - and the power struggle that tears the two friends apart. Andres and Juan are tired of being stepped on, abandoned, and poor. Juan is homeless, they’re both jobless, and no one will help them – so they decide to help themselves. They meet up with leaders of an underground organization that purports to support young Latinos: the Almighty Latin King & Queen Nation. Andres and Juan join the Nation, and their lives immediately change forever.
As the Development Director of Where Peace Lives I have entered discussions with a renown concert promoter/broadway producer to assist in enrolling a celebrity spokesperson for our organizations. Who do you know? Clearly we are only "six degrees of seperation" from having a celebrity figure (musician, musical act, actor.actress) come forward to assist in taking Where Peace Lives to the next level.
You asistance in reaching out to celebrities you know or friendsand associaties that may be in a position to make an introduction is greatly appreciated.
If you haven't viewed the website site in a while, please take a look and send me your feedback as we are constantly looking on how to improve it.
Lastly, we have five Peace Mural projects in the United States and five abroad awaiting funding. The total dollars needed to fund all programs is $15,000.00 ($2,000 each US; $1,000 each abroad). Where Peace Lives has three fundraisers planned for June and July.
Opps. One very last thing (really). I am developing Pro-Peace Sundays. The idea is to facilitate Pro-Peace Sundays at least once a month from April through September 2009 worldwide. The purpose will be to begin discussing and teaching a Culture of Peace based on a program being created by a friend with global affiliations at the highest level. I am requesting you comments, ideas and participation.
