Thanks God, I am back! Report about Ni'lin

Newsletter June 2009

Dear members of mepeace,

in April 2008 my entry to Israel was refused, so I was very happy, to come back. On Sunday morning (7.6.) right after midnight my friend Christiane and I arrived at Ben Gurion airport. At the passport control I had to answer just two questions: „Is this your first visit to Israel?“ and „When did you stay here the last time?“ After responding I got my visa for the next three months. Hallelujah!

Now I share with you on this blog a strongly shortened version of my latest newsletter, which goes out to many friends in German and in English.

I moved back to my flat in Beit Jala.

I shall go on with my way of peace-making, on the one hand I'll tell the Palestinians about the history of the Jewish persecution under Hitler and on the other hand I'll oppose the injustice, which is caused by the Israelis.

On Friday, the 12th of June, Christiane and I went to Ni'lin. Khaled Mahameed, the lawyer from Nazareth, goes there frequently. A friend of him has also mounted some photos of the shoah on boards and they used them in previous demonstrations.

As you may know, one week before (5.6.) Aql Sror (35) was shot by the Israeli army during the demonstration. When we came to the village, we were asked to visit his family. Afterwards we went to the place, where he died and got a detailed explanantion of how this happened.

If Israeli security forces brake the law, they have a very good chance to get away unpunished. Since September 2000 B'Tselem forwarded 345 complaints regarding offences of violence by security forces, but only in 14 cases disciplinary or criminal proceedings were initiated.

Please pray for a softening of hearts and justice and peace for the region!!!

With greetings and blessings, Martin

Hallo Windsfeather,
you commented twice to my blog, but I do not really see the connection between what you write and what I mentioned in my blog, except the point about the visa, but I got in already. cw means chemical weapon, I suppose, on that subject I cannot help you. Greetings, Martin

The NGO's have been able to pierce the veil to the unpunished warring parties. Israel has been charged with using tatics that are not part of their own campaign to war. Using human shields has been denounced and they will pay a heafty price for doing it in this last action. Thank the medical doctors information given underhand to varied ngo's trying to do a peaceful action. The United Nations is listening. The CW agent they used must be termed on how it can be used so others are not burned. They used the agent not for smoke cover. The imporant impact to the peace process is that we have dialog between communities and that opens doors. The entrance you were denied. You need to go through an NGO group to get in. There are ways but they are worried of militia groups or sleeper cell groups opening new tatical camp groups and this what they are trying to defer. Learn what to say and how to say it. Collect data from within from those who have already taken the pictures and get them to via send you the letters for your writings. There are many willing to do this to gain peace. Peace be with you and thank you for trying to get in. Wael Saed he just left germany contact him on this site. you will find him on my friends list. Ask and you shall receive. amera windsfeather
