Your comments concerning the olive harvest are refeshingly temperate. If and when there are people who violently or otherwise interfere with the lawful livelihoods of Arabs then I hope they will be caught and punished. I do not see how such behaviour can be justified in terms of Jewish or Israeli law. I trust, however, that you remind your Arab friends that the cold blooded murder of "settlers" such as Rabbi Meir Avshalom Chai is absolutely unjustifiable. As his widow and seven children (the youngest being two months old) mourn they may wonder why such an atrocity occured just days after the removal of the military checkpoint 150 metres from the scene of the crime. Every time Israel makes a move to improve the lives of Palestinian Arabs and toward peace she is rewarded with violence, incitement and demonisation. The Palestinian Arabs needs to enforce discipline on their society and to exercise self-control individually with the aim of creating a peaceful, just and accountable civic society which can build confidence among Israelis. This is the choice which the Arabs must make between hatred and rational self-interest.

What an amazing journey you have been on Fesalk! Blessings upon you and yours as we all set our Loving intentions on a Peace with no opposite, a Peace that overwhelms and transforms each of us to remember we are One, and always have been, and at the same time each of us unique fractals of Light from this One thing we are. The world is all the more amazing to me for having learned this, and having begun to live it.... Love/Light, and Peace, Chris

To Fesalk411: Hi / Ya Salam ! I just wrote you a long comment but it was erased by mistake, so just let me say that even though I see a lot of hate on this site by some people (not what I expected) I also see a lot of HOPE and every time I reread your story - about your ' turn-about' I get re-inspired and learn again & again that many of you people ~ our neighbors and genetic cousins (and old freinds before the Intifada) - are starting to aquire the true positive 'sickness' which allowed us Jews to survive so long: HOPE. So please stick to it and remain a Peace-maker. Shalom

Bless you for your difficult but fruitful journey.
I think we all need to find new questions to ask.
For example: How do we help young people, who have only known distrust and fear of "the other", to release the deep psychological scars and begin to work toward building a healthy and peaceful future?
I do believe that there are many fronts working in the right direction.
And - I pray that we ALL mature enough to understand that the global community has to turn it's efforts toward preserving all life on this planet.
May we all be blessed with a future of peace and sustainability.
Shalom, Salaam, Peace,
Cari

wow, I am inspired for your life story. Wished that everyone will read this and they may apply also in their lives specially those who have stubborn heart with wrong ideas, because they only thinking about what their mind dictates even it is turn to violence and death. If we put love in our hearts, love conquers everything!! Would you like i will publish your life story in our magazine news, i am a writer of (Philippine)Filipino Magazine news.? I am very glad that I join Mepeace. I was so encouraged about all the stories. God richly bless you.......

Thanks for sharing your story.... it's so encouraging to hear from people who have turned to nonviolence and recognize the myth of redemptive violence. If we practice an eye for an eye, the whole world will soon go blind.
