Hi Stephanie .... TIPP is The Israel Palestine Project. You can read the details of the organization and the work of the project at www.israelpalestineproject.org. We've been working on a common historical narrative of the Israeli/Palestinean people.
I'd love to read your blog when it's finished.. Have you ever been to Germany?
I actually had the chance to watch Billy Corgan on stage (with his unfortunately unsuccessful band Zwan) in 2003, at the Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands. The old Pumpkins stuff is awesome, my favorite tracks are on Mellon Collie and Adore.
i originally found out about you guys through the gaza-sderot video project page on facebook a while ago then saw it again on CS and thought, OK, fine, i'll see what this is all about:) in part it was my dissatisfaction with the peace in the middle east group on CS that inspired me to give this a try...
Hello and blessings to you.
Can I suggest you change the words Hate... very strong, doesn't help in bringing Peace. We need to bring Peace through Compassion, not by hating anything or anyone. Just a thought
Lots of peaceful blessings to you
ps: Israel is one of my favourite places... great to go in with lots of love and compassion.... but I must say I sympathise with you as you are in a very different position to the rest of us with your background
thanks for your comments you are so sweet
i was working at MSF (medecins sans frantiere) as a phsychologyst but now im preparing myself to continue phd in germany .

Wellcome, when and however you need...
I am writing to you just because I believe every body in this network is my friend. Even if we did never meet, I respect and value your support to peace in the Middle East.
For this reason, I am trying to build up a group of participants/volunteers in the Galilee, with a multi-national taste.
Please check out our program:
We would like more people to join us in Eilaboun for this summer!

Hi Stephanie, I've visited Israel/Palestine, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey. Currently I'm in touch with an Iraqi activist and I just finished my Masters Thesis on Iran (so these two countries are on top of my list of countries to visit). As a political scientist, my main interest is the interplay between academic analyses and activism (of course I also really like the interaction with different cultures, the Netherlands can be quite boring sometimes ;). My thesis has been pretty well recieved so far, graded 8.8/10, see: http://iranscenarios.wordpress.com/.
What about you? Must say I really like your positive way of activism on the site!
