I've forgotten about the check points... I want to go to this event to meet some of the most remarkable people - who have been working selflessly for years - I came across through my work on wiserearth. I think it would be quite unfair to accuse them with after-event-business-as-usual trait.
From my long experience in education and conversation, if there is ever an 'only way' it is the way of the objective sought - in this case peace - and not my opinion or metaphysical ideology however true it may seem! Every time I was under the belief that something was the only way, not only I got in trouble but very soon I was proven wrong... oh how much I love it... this preference of not fixing the future by my conjecture upon it, be it negative or positive...
I don't know yet which days I'll be in Assawiya but I'll be in touch and really hope we could meet... Love to you and your family, Narda
Yeaaaay! Alas my only friday i intend to go to the gathering in beit haniya near wallaje, not far from where i lived many many years ago as a child. Could you come to that and bring you family perhaps? Could then invite you to my mom for supper... http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=154269177248&ref=nf
First I wanted to say how much I liked your insightful response on the debate about the political parties this morning... :)
I'm going to be in Israel for just under 2 weeks -from next Tuseday. Inshallah I shall be picking olives in Al=Sawaiya or Assawiya near Nablus for a couple of days or so. I would love to meet with you and really hope you could come for a few hours or a day.

you are indeed a blessing and make me smile :) before i go out for my class... maybe then now is time your wife might like to connect with me... but only as outsider to bounce ideas of. i tried in this mepeace to make friends in grass roots groups in middle east to pass on networking information to Friends like your wife... unfortunately i did not make any such connections... i think the groups i went to were inactive... HOWEVER... with the mepeace Team's help if you and your wife are able to come up with some ways you may be looking for practical assistance for day/day living THEN i think this network will bless you greatly. ofcourse neither you or your wife need me to do this... you are capable yourself... and so the choice of contact remains either way... your choice... but in end dear one... i know and feel that already you are prepared for this journey through the contact you have already made... here in mepeace... much love. must go now... nite xx love to Family
thank you for kind message you left me in your group. feel very humbled as felt did not offer much. sometime and this is hard... but the lesson i had to learn was this... if you lead change others may follow... if you make friends.. then you have people around you that can help you... you sit with people and learn to understand them and give them equal respect and understanding then in time also they learn to do same for you... it very hard lesson.. but we can not change one another... we can only change ourselves... but when we do this we equally affect change too... hope this makes sense! so for my part... overcomming fear and lonelyness is critical... having people who can and will listen and or do physical actions of kindness to help you while you 'find your feet' is also for us Mothers anyway... THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect of our success or failure ... to 'fit in' ... because it affects our self confidence and morale. i am sure in YOU there is sufficient leadership and love to take your Family on this journey and all will learn to live peacefully, i pray the path is not too rocky and that the strength of your love for each other will keep you together and focused on what is important... your day to day living.... much love and many blessing... everything else will 'fall into place' over time thanks be to G-d. hugs shel
Hi Wael!
Please do let me know what happens when you get in touch with the contact and if you do end up going to the conference.
There seems to be a lot of Palestinians living in Germany, no?
Does Germany have the biggest Palestinian population in Europe?
I am really interested in the Palestinian diaspora, and learning about Palestinian communities around the world! :)

interesting to see you also live in Düsseldorf. I don't actually come from Düsseldorf, but my family and me moved there 4 years ago.
Check your inbox... ;o)
Wishing you increasing peace and prosperity,
Chris
