hello corey gil-shuster welcome to the peacemaker gods childrens your so blessed that you were and hope to thta you will continue your activities that you need to share in this organization and you are so welcome for me here and hope to be my friend in this organization and me god bless you and your family circle in canada and israel and i challenge you to come and see me personally and may you say oh my god its you harry again me god bless you .
I just created this website for interviewing people on the subject of the the Israeli-Palestinian conflict- Since you are also doing your thesis on a similar topic, I would be happy to share my responses with you.
My MA program is for Communication design- digital/graphic design. So for my thesis I decided to use modern branding tactics, social networking theories and regional semiotics/symbology to give this cultural conflict a new identity. I use the word "rebranding" relatively loosely because it obviously doesn't already have a brand. But it does have an image that can be reshaped. I hope to empower people to strive for peace by immediate visual stimulation- posters for example. However the hub of the campaign will be a website with interactive elements to promote people to share there ideas much like mepeace.org. www.Hopenhagen.com is an example, though much more neutral of an issue.
A True Story By Faisal Al-katib
I am a Palestinian Arab from Hizmeh, a village between Jerusalem and Ramallah. When I was 15 years old I fought against the Israeli Occupation in search of freedom. At that time I thought every Jewish person, whether soldier or citizen, man or woman, young or old, should be killed. I rejected the right for any Jew to live and every Jew was a target. I was just a kid, believe me, and I didn’t understand anything about politics or the Arab-Israeli conflict. I was arrested and sat in jail for 12 years. This was during the first intifada from 1987. At that time nobody talked about peace but only of violence. I matured during my time in jail. I started studying and reading books on politics, literature, poetry, and about the Madrid Conference.
It gave me hope to live in peace and dignity. I learned that violence only breeds violence and that peace is the only solution for the two nations, the only way for both to have a respectful and beautiful future. We live on the same land. We are neighbors. We drink the same water and both pray to a monotheistic God. We must live in peace on the basis of religion for God and land for everyone.
this picture is from the last war in Gaza, just I meant to remind all of you that we suffered too much from wars, we are looking for peace, it enough to kill each other, let's think in our future, in spite of that I will change it as soon as possible, cuz I feel sorrow when I see it, thanks for your advice.
ok i will tell u but in brief because it's a big storry. i was working in isreali market in beir sheva suthern part of israel . during my job i know many people i was talking with them all the time iwas eating with them and they share me my good and bad times. in that time i forget that he is an israeli or she is an enemy
we just were talking as human being . that's the truth we are an human being we need to know each other , to feel each other not seeing the blood every where , we need to teach our children how to teach peace in to sides not to teach them how to hate each other .finally , believe me or not there is a place for all on this land.
