The SIXTH Peace Education Workshop will once again bring together peace educators, curricula writers, encounter facilitators, peace studies practitioners, conflict resolution practitioners, mediators, and activists from academia, research sector, governmental and community organizations and others from Israel, Palestine and beyond.

The Workshop will once again be a tremendous opportunity for dialogue, debate and visioning with collaboration and cooperation between the body of theory and practice.
The upcoming IPCRI Peace Education Conference will be held on Friday-Saturday, August 7-8, 2009 in the large, wooded campus of the Evangelical Lutheran School of Talitha Kumi, located above the town of Beit Jala, adjacent to Bethlehem, 12 kilometers south of Jerusalem.
Access to the school is open and safe for Israelis and Palestinians from the West Bank can enter without needing a permit from the Israeli authorities.
All participants are strongly encouraged to conduct a workshop. The program of the conference is built and based on the workshops that are delivered by the participants. Workshops can be lectures, discussions, films, drama, experiential, meditation, yoga and reiki, etc. Everyone can present and everyone can be a workshop facilitator. The deadline for submitting an Abstract for a Workshop is August 1, 2009 at noon.
