The MJC is a dialogue and leadership project that targets future leaders from sectors of economics, academics and politics in the beginning of their careers.

Our expectations are that the 2011 conference will both replicate and exceed the success of the MJC 2010.

The MJC ’11 will take place in Germany; from 3rd to 8th of July. Our host cities will be Bonn and Osnabrueck, which are located 2 hours away from each other. There will be five committees to choose from, out of which three are based upon the formulation of practical projects to enhance Muslim-Jewish relations and tackle common problems. The remaining committees constitute the theoretical aspect which aims to look at Muslim-Jewish relations from a more academic and research-oriented perspective, aiming towards a better understanding of shared histories, narratives and identities. Furthermore there will be guest speaker sessions as well as social events.

The registration process, requires each participant to fill in this online registration form. Concise summaries for each committee have been provided to help applicants enlist their preferences. Please note that the form requires each applicant to upload a recent photograph, an updated version of their CV, a letter of recommendation from a professor/employer/NGO/NPO/ and scanned copies of a valid passport.
Registration will take place on a rolling basis from Wednesday, the 20th of April, until Sunday, the 15th of May. A hundred participants will be selected from amongst the applicants in equal proportions of Muslims and Jews along with applicants from different backgrounds/affiliations.

As it is our official policy, the MJC will not require you to pay any participation fee and will provide accommodation from Sunday 3rd to Saturday 9th of July. The MJC will not provide any financial support for traveling, visa applications or single room requests. Men and Women will not be able to share rooms with each other.

Kosher and Halal food will be available and subsidized but we can not yet promise to cover the costs for food entirely. Therefore please make sure to plan on bringing an appropriate amount of money to finance food for yourself for six days, until further notice.

Best of Luck and we hope to see you in Bonn and Osnabrueck !
