I wrote an article that was published yesterday by the Common Ground News Service that points to some underlying problems and the fact that neither government has worked to prepare its people to accept peace. You can read my article by clicking on the following link:
The editor added a few things and subtracted a few including a number of organizations that I suggested to draw on experientially to develop and implement a national educational program including the Compassionate Listening Project, Jewish-Palestinian Living Room Dialogue, Interfaith Encounter Association, IPCRI, MEND, the Dialogue Institute and the US Institute of Peace as well as others. I simply don't believe that either people is prepared to accept the terms of a peace agreement without substantive preparation and meaningful support. Accordingly, there are two questions; 1) Do you agree with my premise? & 2) If you do; What can you and I do to rally the support necessary to make it happen?
