the sweetness of peace with the bitterness of pre-agreement violence

Any time that there is a statement that there is a progress toward creation of Palestinian state there is a potential of violence of the extremists who fear from ending the conflict with a moderate solution that will enable all to live here.

So expect the sweetness of peace with the bitterness of pre-agreement violence.

Its a banana republic run by 2 dictators,,,, makes perfect sense. And its not a country

No, it is not a country, and as a nation-state they have a very long ways to go.  But like it or not, it is the negotiating partner Israel has to work with.  That is the reason why I go back to passages from the Tanakh, because that situation has been in our history before.

Are you trying to compare the PA today to biblical Israel? Really?  Why?

What do you think of releasing all these horrible terrorist so we can have the honor to sit at the table with the PA.. What does Israel get, Saeb Arakats presence?

When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses.  Deuteronomy 11:29.

Both of these mountains are within the vicinity of the city of Nablus.  Nablus is the center of Palestinian manufacturing. President Abbas has stated in Washington, D.C., that he wants a Jew-free Palestine.  I am campaigning stringently for him to reconsider. Palestine would not have an economy strong enough to support it.  So foreign investments will have to come in, and the majority of that would be from Israel.  Jews can enter or stay in Palestine, without threatening the country, or the economy.  In fact, then can help enhance it.  Let us make sure Palestine does not make the same mistake that Congo made.  The Belgians pulled up and left, and nothing was transferred over to the Congolese.  In the Congo, Belgium constructed the Institute of Tropical Agriculture.  Today the building is in ruins, with 1 scientist working in there, being completely supported by international donations.  Nationalism can make one cry "Freedom," but a terrible price can be paid, if the freedom is accomplished with anger.

Why are you so forgiving of such statements...If Israel said they wanted an Arab free country, everyone would jump all over them.... Talk about Apartheid statements and ethnic cleansing....

Zionist Jews DID say they wanted an Arab free country:

David Ben Gurion, "We must expel Arabs and take their places". Said in 1937, and quoted in Ben Gurion and the Palestine Arabs, Oxford University Press, 1985

Joseph Weitz, head of the Jewish Agency's Colonization Department : "Between ourselves it must be clear that there is no room for both peoples together in this country. We shall not achieve our goal if the Arabs are in this small country. There is no other way than to transfer the Arabs from here to neighboring countries - all of them. Not one village, not one tribe should be left." A Solution to the Refugee Problem, 1940

I think t is pretty sad that you need to go back  75 years to find a random quote to prove your point.. Abbas said it this week...

Jews had to back-track 2000 years to stake a claim on Palestine.

Jews have been living in Palestine since before it was called Palestine.  There was always a presence and this is the Jewish home land... I understand you cannot accept that or accept that this was recognized by the UN in 1947.  Palestinians are a creation of the last 50 years... Jews are 3000 year old people with Israel being their land...

Late 19th Century, Jews were a minority, only 3%. Even at the time of Partition, Jews owned only 6% of the land. This does not give Zionists the right to evict Arabs and deny Arabs their civil and political rights. Arabs owned a huge percentage of the land they were forced to leave. This is all accepted fact.

Population transfer was never accepted as an option by anyone except Ben-Gurion and the extremist Zionists. Every refugee will be returning, probably a lot sooner than you imagine.

The future will be ONE country, democratically shared by everyone: Jew, Arab and refugee. You can fight and argue for as long as you like, but in the end, there is going to be one UNDIVIDED country, with every refugee returning to reclaim stolen assets.

First of all, there is no such thing as a democratic Arab country, The partition plan divide Palestine into a JEWISH and ARAB country.  Arabs refused period.

It is the Arabs fault the Palestinians dont have a state, dont blame anyone else... If not for Israel Palestinians would have never existed and just be called Egyptians and Jordanians. BTW Arafat was born in Egypt, he is a true Palestinian.

I showed you that at that time Jews payed 60% of the taxes which mark the gap between the Jews immigrated from Europe and locals who did not have sense of statehood or claimed to be a nation.
