Dear Brit Tzedek Supporters,

[Action Alert] As American Jews and friends, we have a very exciting opportunity to support the President of the United States in his efforts to promote a pro-Israel, pro-peace agenda! We now have a president whose Middle East agenda is in line with the majority American Jewish opinion, which supports a two-state solution and diplomatic engagement, and so now is the time to act!

Call your Senators and Representatives today and urge them to back the President's Middle East peace efforts! Tell them to support Obama's request for supplemental aid to the Palestinians and to support Obama's approach to engaging with a possible Palestinian unity government. Finally, tell Congress to support Obama's efforts to engage diplomatically with Iran by rejecting initiatives to impose new sanctions and rejecting efforts to impose impractical timelines to engage diplomatically with Iran.;

Paste this into your facebook status:
Wants you to call your Senators and Representatives to support Obama’s aid money to Palestinians, his approach to engaging with a possible unity government and his efforts to engage diplomatically with Iran.;

It's really important that everyone makes your calls today!

I do not knowif I can comment on this thread if I am not an American of Jewish Faith.
One thing I could say is that everybody should educate themsellf. their famiy, thair friends and neighbours to be tolerant, to speak frankly, to vote for our reprentatives in politics to be worthy of our trust so as to defend our values when it comes to Peace.

Just to say that I wish you every luck in your endeavour!.
I have taken notice of a quote from an orthodox US- Jewish group who a few years ago marched in a demonstration in New York under the banner: 'We did not escape Auswitch to die in Jenin'. Do you know about this group? They might be useful in your quest.

Brit Tzedek V'Shalom, a Jewish Human Rights group for Justice in Israel and Palestine created a youtube video, asking Barack Obama to put the Israel/Palestine conflict as a the top of his priorities, and to bring peace and justice for both peoples on both sides.

Here is the link:

One of the Rabbis is the cousin of Michelle Obama!!!

Love and Blessings

Stephanie :)
