My personal story:
In last thirteen years I have been working for different International Organization and past through all process of stabilization in BiH.

My previous work experience has given me considerable knowledge of a broad range of business and day to day situations related to humanitarian and political matters.

Currently I work as the Executive Manager on Radio Television Mostar. I gained good knowledge in organizational skills and enriched my career with meeting a great number of professionals in business sector through my work.

Furthermore, I have worked with two U.S. Non-Governmental Organizations where I was directly involved to work with refugees, returnees, local authorities, and International Humanitarian Organization on the field, and achieved prominent results that have been confirmed by my superiors in enclosed recommendations.

For 6 years I have worked at the Office of High Representative Regional Office South whose main objectives were further (humanitarian, political, economic, etc) normalization of situation in Mostar region, and establishing cooperation between local population, NGOs, and Government Authorities.

I believe that I can meet all of desired qualifications listed for the position. In addition to the required technical skills, I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time-management skills. I’m hard working person, self-starter, polite, friendly, and someone to rely on. I’m able to work well both independently and cooperatively. I like intellectual challenges and analytic work.

A True Story By Faisal Al-Hatib
I am a Palestinian Arab from Hizmeh, a village between Jerusalem and Ramallah. When I was 15 years old I fought against the Israeli Occupation in search of freedom. At that time I thought every Jewish person, whether soldier or citizen, man or woman, young or old, should be killed. I rejected the right for any Jew to live and every Jew was a target. I was just a kid, believe me, and I didn’t understand anything about politics or the Arab-Israeli conflict. I was arrested and sat in jail for 12 years. This was during the first intifada from 1987. At that time nobody talked about peace but only of violence. I matured during my time in jail. I started studying and reading books on politics, literature, poetry, and about the Madrid Conference.

It gave me hope to live in peace and dignity. I learned that violence only breeds violence and that peace is the only solution for the two nations, the only way for both to have a respectful and beautiful future. We live on the same land. We are neighbors. We drink the same water and both pray to a monotheistic God. We must live in peace on the basis of religion for God and land for everyone.

Zdravo Adnan,

hvala ti sto si prihvatio prijateljstvo.

Prije nekoliko godina bilo sam na terenu u BiH (Sarajevo-Butmir, SFOR HQ) i na Kosovu. Trenutno se bavim za konfliktom na srednjem istoku. Zena mije iz Citluka i imamo rodbinu u Mostaru.

Drago mi je naci ovdje nekog iz BiH i nadam se mozemo razmjeniti misljenja o srednjem istoku.

Pozdrav,
Oliver
