My personal story:
The Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies is affiliated with the Master of Arts program in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies, the only degree program in all of Iraq that is dedicated to teaching students about the emerging theory and practice of peacebuilding. The Center conducts research on subjects related to peace and conflict in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, hosts seminars and workshops with local and national stakeholders in politics and civil society, and engages with international partners to develop new knowledge that can contribute to increased peacefulness in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
Why I want peace:
In order to end violent conflict and to build and promote prosperity and increase social justice.
Interests and activities:
Research, training, networking, conflict assessment, peace studies, mediation, community peace education, research collaborations
Something you didn't know about me:
We respresent the only MA program in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies in Iraq.

What I want to achieve here:
To build better ties between our Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies here in Duhok, Iraq and with likeminded organizations and individuals, especially in the wider Middle East region.
