With all the bittersweetness that all sides may feel, the day Gilad Shalit and the Palestinian prisoners went home was the first time I remember that Palestinians and Israelis shared the joy of reunion as a result of cooperation.
Listening to Mahmoud Abbas and Benjamin Netanyahu at the United Nations today, I am overwhelmed by more than a glimmer of hope because I believe that if we can agree on the goals, we can achieve them together.
