I was born in Izmir,Turkey.
I am studying International Relations Department at Bilkent University since 2007 and now I am a senior student of it. I live in Ankara,Turkey.I am interested in Middle Eastern Issues as general, I took several classes related to that.I attended many MUN (Model of United Nations) conferences in Turkey and abroad.I had some internships in Turkey in think-tanks.Now I am looking to finish my studies as an undergraduate and start an MA on Middle Eastern Studies. However, I am mostly interested in foreign policy cases, decision-making processes and Israel-Palestinian conflict.
Why I want peace:
It is a desire for me to live in a more peacuful world and make sure that the number of people are suffering is decreasing. From the high school years, I have been interested in international politics and Middle Eastern region attracted me due to its unique nature of being a cradle of civilizations throughout history. However today we are facing with human rights violations, wars and conflicts. Therefore, people should more and more get together to understand each other and provide long lasting solutions for the problems of this region.
Interests and activities:
Swimming, reading and listenning to classical music.
I am the founder and the organizer of : Iartexpo art as a bridge for peace, International art expo and exhibit, a non profit organization, to help Israelis and Palestinians artists, to exhibit together to dialogue together.. Here in Israel. and (hope) in Ramallah

I'm so glad to see young Turks - as well as Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians, Pakistanis, and so many others - involved in the peace movement. You can literally lead our world to a brighter future. Keep engaging and being brave enough to reject the outdated assumptions that have caused so much harm.
Dear friend "Vasudev kutukbkam" entire world is a family. This is the teaching of our indian culture and tradition. This is a wonderful site to to know our inner self and each other and can make a world a family. We created countries, boundaries, religions, cast, race for any reason. But this the time to realize that we are one and naturally interconnected with each other which we can just realize by watching inhale and exhale of our breaths. The source is same without any discrimination of religion and boundaries, equally for all living life of universe .When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equally important, valuable and respectable . We should follow the nature's rule,God has given us a human life not for destruction but to look after the wellbeing of all living life so that peace and harmony can establish in this planet. I shall be happy if we could be a friend with harmonious relationship. shyam
