I was born in Jerusalem and bred on dialogue groups my mom was leading during my childhood. I did the Israeli routine of high school-> army service-> intense travel-> BA degree (in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics). I had some nice adventures on the way. I'm starting my MA this year in Conflict Resolution at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and living in the great Nachlaot neighborhood with my wonderful boyfriend Ben. I work for Dr. Daphna Golan as the coordinator of Community-Academy partnership for Social Change (www.partnership.huji.ac.il).
Why I want peace:
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has a great impact on my everyday experience of the society I grew up in. It makes me sad and weary to see the never-ending oppression the Palestinians suffer and the blindness of Israelis to this suffering and their responsibility. I want this to end, I want to live in a moral and safe society. I believe peace is the path to happiness and enlightenment.
Interests and activities:
My main forum for activities is my feminist women's group - the Hazizot. A supportive circle of friends, we've met weekly for three years, and had ongoing dialogue with parallel groups of Palestinian women. Watch the video I posted for more info.. I got a lot of inspiration from Global Majority seminars as well (http://globalmajority.org/gm/).
How I found mepeace.org:
Heard about it from Eyal at a Global Majority seminar in Jerusalem
What I want to achieve here:
Inspiration and networking
