My story's not quite "Hollywood Blockbuster" material, but at least it's not a feature on Lifetime. For the past 6+ years I've worked as CEO and President of the Brewer family, a multi-hundred dollar enterprise. My eldest child has just left the nest and I have another in grade school. My husband is a recent culinary school graduate and is an amazing Pastry Chef!
Why I want peace:
I was raised in a free-spirited home, and couldn't fathom as a child why our people needed to fight other people for stuff that wasn't even ours in the first place. I would love for our country to concern themselves with fixing the problems we have here instead, and that people are more important than money, oil, and big business.
Interests and activities:
I have been disabled with Fibromyalgia for the past 6 years. I am returning to college in January after almost 20 years away. My major is Cultural Anthropology; I am fascinated by the history of our cultures and of other countries. While I may never be able to work again, learning for the sake of learning is an incredible gift to me. I also love crafts and make wonderful decoupage pieces and pop-culture themed crafts. I also am a social media junkie, tacky princess, and superhero, at least according to my kids.
Something you didn't know about me:
I started singing professionally as part of a nightclub band in Las Vegas when I was six.
