I love both Jews and Arabs and long for peace between them. I also study Biblical Hebrew and speak a little Arabic.
Why I want peace:
Because the peacemakers are blessed and we are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Interests and activities:
Christianity, Islam, Judaism, books! Middle Eastern Music and classical music and too many other things to delineate
Something you didn't know about me:
I haven't a photo of myself and wouldn't know how to send it even if I had!
How I found mepeace.org:
I was looking for links between Arabic and Hebrew
What I want to achieve here:
I desperately want to buy a little book which will compare Hebrew and Arabic. So many words are the same or similar e.g. 'akh' (brother). I feel a brother to any Jew or Muslim who really loves God, Elohim/Allah.
Do you promise to respect others and our guidelines and not spam?

while living in Germany I looked at mepeace only very little. Please, excuse me for not answering your comment until now. Also, I am sorry to tell you, I do not know such a little booklet, comparing Arabic and Hebrew expressions. In August I intend to travel to the Middle East again, hopefully we can stay in contact, greetings and blessings, Martin

The waves of energy and positive ideas in a state of meditation will have tremendous effects in a peaceful way and reduce aggressiviy in many ways. Can influence our political leaders to be more peaceful and harmonious.
Join us in great number and invite your friends to attend.
Faisal ya habeebi,
Alhamdulillah for your inspiring story and may the Lord bless your desire for peace, for He said 'blessed are the peacemakers.' I'm sorry you had to discover the way through imprisonment, but very often this is the only way...we are all of us imprisoned in prejudice, ignorance, selfishness etc until the Lord frees us. I will remember you in prayer and trust your example will inspire many brothers to adopt the path of peace and brotherhood. I love Arabic and Arabs (most of them!) and also study Hebrew and respect the Jews (most of them!) and I extend a real love and respect to your dear Faisal akhi! My keyboard won't write Hebrew or Arabc. My love Andrew XX
A True Story By Faisal Al-kateep
I am a Palestinian Arab from Hizmeh, a village between Jerusalem and Ramallah. When I was 15 years old I fought against the Israeli Occupation in search of freedom. At that time I thought every Jewish person, whether soldier or citizen, man or woman, young or old, should be killed. I rejected the right for any Jew to live and every Jew was a target. I was just a kid, believe me, and I didn’t understand anything about politics or the Arab-Israeli conflict. I was arrested and sat in jail for 12 years. This was during the first intifada from 1987. At that time nobody talked about peace but only of violence. I matured during my time in jail. I started studying and reading books on politics, literature, poetry, and about the Madrid Conference.
It gave me hope to live in peace and dignity. I learned that violence only breeds violence and that peace is the only solution for the two nations, the only way for both to have a respectful and beautiful future. We live on the same land. We are neighbors. We drink the same water and both pray to a monotheistic God. We must live in peace on the basis of religion for God and land for everyone.
